Organic Bamboo from Viscose Fitted Crib Mattress Protector Pad by Baby&Brooke – 100% Waterproof, Absorbent, Non-Toxic, Breathable Mattress Cover - (52"x 28"x 8")

This mattress cover was exactly what I was looking for! The bamboo surface is quite soft (and anti-microbial!), and the non-toxic waterproof backing isn't crinkly or loud. Of course the elastic gussets on the side are not waterproof, but that is fine with me. They are deep enough and fit snugly around the sides of the mattress to prevent and slipping or movement of the pad. I washed it on a gentle cycle, and then dried it on an ultra-low setting in my dryer. The manufacturer's recommendation is air dry, but it held up fine on the very low heat setting on my dryer. I will probably order an extra one of these pads to have on hand. Incidentally, it has really cute packaging, so it would make a great baby shower gift. I find it very worth the price, as the non-toxic, waterproof material and the bamboo top are hard to find in other covers, and are important features in my mind.

Will be purchasing this again. Main driver was that it’s made in USA. The quality is superb. It’s comfortable, soft, quiet (not crinkly, like some mattress protectors can be), easy to care for/wash and the perfect fit on the crib mattress.

First of all let me get this out of the way: this is not a fully organic product! However, this is stated clearly in the description and on the packaging. The terry bamboo top is organic but the rest, in order to be waterproof, is not organic. This is fine with me, as baby will be only touching the top layer if that (I will have an organic cotton sheet on top of this cover anyways). On to the actual product! I have to say, the packaging was simple and easy to open, and the insert was one of the nicest and cutest labels I’ve seen. I’ve included pictures of the front and back-washing instructions and contents stand out right away. I followed the washing instructions and left it hang to dry overnight and it turned out great. While it is a tight fit on the crib mattress, we do have a full 6 inch Colgate mattress and that is the max size this cover is listed for. The cover itself is very soft and gives just a little cushioning, without being too much. Baby has yet to arrive, so I cannot speak for the waterproofness of it completely. I will say when taken out of the washer, it was definitely holding water well. It did not drip or leave a water trail as it dried. Should anything change once baby has ‘broken it in’, I will be sure to update this review! Thanks for reading!

Liked this product and got several. Needs air drying as only downside so I recommend getting several because drying takes days. Months later - bought another. Still agree this is a good product.

I absolutely LOVE this mattress pad. I was looking for a replacement for my current mattress cover and I think I found it. My previous one had plastic that makes a ton of noise when my son moves around the crib. But this pad is simply the best one I have ever laid my hands on. I was extremely impressed with how soft it was out of the packaging and it didn't have that plastic feeling like other so called "waterproof" pads claim. Not to mention, there were no smelly odors. It fit really snug and has just the right amount of thickness and didn't make any loud crinkly noises, which was a plus. Oh, did I mention how SOFT it was? It feels like I don't even need a sheet on top. I wish my bed had this! Excellent quality from a great company. I'm probably going to buy a second one for backup.

I wanted to make sure I did my research to find a quality mattress protector for our daughter’s crib. After all, she spends a majority of her time sleeping face-down sleeping, so it was important that it was made from non-toxic and mostly organic material. I’ve ordered a few covers in the past (some of which didn’t fit our crib mattress for some reason), but this one fit snug and perfect! I love the little extra padding that the quilted pattern provides. I haven’t washed it yet, so I hope it holds up well. I wish it was a little more friendly on the wallet, but I’m willing to pay a little more for good quality. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.

I first purchased this nattress pad for my first baby, 3 years ago and I'm still using it on his toddler bed! It's been through quite a workout from diaper blowouts through potty training, and still holding up well. When the second baby came around, I knew I'd be purchasing another. It's extremely soft, doesn't make any noise, and chemical free!! The care directions recommend not putting it in the dryer to prevent cracking of the liner, but as a busy mom I don't always have time to line dry and it's still holding up and hasn't shrunk from dryer use. I definitely recommend this product if you're a mom or if you're buying for a baby gift! :)

I was looking for an organic crib mattress topper that was affordable at the same time (babies grow up way too fast). I came a cross this organic cotton mattress cover while scrolling through amazon. I have to say I’m very impressed with the product. And loved that it’s canadian (support local companies). Came within few days. So soft to the touch and comfortable .

This mattress pad is a perfect fit for the crib mattress and feels very soft and high quality. Baby has had several accidents and spit ups in the crib and the mattress is perfectly protected, and the pad is easy to wash. Very happy with the purchase!

There’s something special about getting a “Thank You” note with a purchase. Mattress protector is incredibly soft. So far, I’ve just washed it and put it on my baby’s mattress. Not sure if waterproof yet, but I’m sure I’ll find out soon.

We have had this product for several months now and I was waiting to write a review until there was a situation in which I could test out how waterproof it actually is, but have thankfully not had a situation like that yet. The mattress pad is quite soft and is made of nice materials. It seems thick so I'm hopeful it will keep any moisture off the mattress as it isn't waterproof and no one wants to deal with that! I like that it doesn't make noise when my baby moves around like some of the cheaper ones do. It was quite a bit more expensive than the others but you get what you pay for. My only complaint is how difficult it is to clean. You have to either wash it on delicate or hand wash it and then hang to dry so it won't come apart in the dryer. Not a big deal if you're not having to wash it every other day but it would get old fast if having to clean frequently. Overall I'm pleased with the product and would recommend it to a friend.

Just received the mattress protector pad yesterday. It is incredibly soft and fits standard crib mattress perfectly. I tested a patch for water resistance and it passed. It is not baby tested as the due date is yet to come.
