For Christmas, my son asked for this specific wheel attachment to play Mario, and he is very happy with the gift. It works like a charm, and is much more affordable than the “licensed” Mario wheels. It is responsive and feels realistic. The only thing I would advise you is to make sure you have a smooth level surface to stick it on, otherwise the suction cups won’t stay put.

Most of the mediocre/negative reviews for this are because people don't understand what they are buying and that it won't work for all racing games.This is a piece of plastic that holds your joy-con controllers and allows you to turn them like a wheel. That's it. For it to work well in a game, the game itself needs to have tilt controls. Auto acceleration is not 100% necessary but hugely helpful.It works for Mario Kart 8 because Mario Kart supports tilt controls and Mario Kart supports automatic acceleration. ZL and ZR are blocked when the joycons are in the wheel but L/R are accessible so no problem for Mario Kart. Make sure to turn on tilt and auto accel during kart selectionCruis'n Blast also supports auto acceleration and the couple of necessary buttons are accessible as well. Make sure to turn on tilt and auto accel in the pause menu.The price of this seems to fluctuate. For the sale price of $15 it's awesome. For $30, it's definitely way overpriced.

Great product

Love the look and price. However the suction cups do not stick to anything and we are unable to use the product successfully. Color is nice and switch controllers fit, but again not easy to use since we can’t get it to stick.

Purchased this for my toddler who loves anything with cars. Set it up with all the driver assists in Mario Kart and this kid is having a blast.This wheel relies entirely on the motion control which is built into the switch's joycon's which doesn't work for all racing games (looking at you cars 3) but works with the big one on switch: Mario Kart. It has cutouts for the shoulder buttons used for items and drifting but covers the front shoulder buttons that aren't used. This wheel is basically made to make Mario Kart more fun, and it fully accomplishes that. Using the wheel is a lot more fun than driving with the joystick, even if it's less precise.I haven't had any issues with the stand folding up and falling while using it, even my toddler going from lock to lock and pulling it hasn't caused it to fold. I am wondering if people experiencing the folding issue realize you need to pull the support forward to "lock" it into place? If it does become an issue, a piece of wood or plastic jammed into the mechanism will keep it propped open and elevated.The only reason I am withholding a star is because after 4 days of use this thing squeaks like mad. Nothing some lubrication won't fix, but still a minor gripe.

I purchased this steering wheel for my 6 yr old son to keep him off my teenagers 1500 $ driving simulator, This is very good for the price has some issues with sticking to table top ,

This was a favorite gift to our grandson. It works out great and has had a lot of use.
