These Wyze smart plugs work exactly as expected and are very easy to set up. The process through the Wyze app is straightforward, and they connected quickly on a 2.4GHz WiFi network with no issues. No hub is required, which keeps things simple. Once set up, they’ve been reliable for daily use. I’ve used them for lamps and small appliances, and they respond quickly through the app as well as via Alexa and Google Assistant. Voice control works smoothly, and scheduling routines is easy and consistent. The plugs are compact enough that they don’t completely block adjacent outlets, which is a nice design touch. Having a four-pack makes this a good value, especially if you’re setting up multiple rooms or devices at once. Overall, these are dependable, affordable smart plugs that integrate well with popular smart home platforms. I got these to replace the WeMo brand we had that is ending their services soon. I have Wyze camera and Headphones so these were easy to add to my existing app. Setup was very simple and I had no issues with 2.4 or 5ghz wifi. Adding in the app and setting up took about 45 second total. So far they have worked great and are quick to respond through our integrated Google home system with voice commands. They are smaller and take up less space than other brands I have used so that is a plus. I got a 4 pack and I would get more in the future if I need more outlets to control.

I bought some Leviton smart outlet plugs and bought these as well. I used these during the Christmas season. Wreathes, Trees, Christmas Villages, Garland, etc. Integrate well with Alexa. "Alexa: Turn on Christmas lights." The Wyze app works well to turn them all on/off at once or individually (by name.) Of course Alexa will do that too. But-what I noticed was a wifi reliability issue. One or more plug would drop or lose wifi connectivity. What a pain. Lights would stay on when they were scheduled to turn off. Or they wouldn't turn on. I would have to reprogram them. Just a headache. Not sure if there will be a firmware update to address these issues. That would be great. As far as recommending these plugs - I'll say this, don't expect a perfect, trouble-free relationship. Just know that going in.

Love my Wyze plugs as they are so easy to connect to Wifi. App makes it easy to turn on or off to control lighting. Seems like they are very durable and will last a long time.

These are so easy to hook up to Alexa and to get working! I love them. I’ve tried others and returned them for these instead. I have other wyze devices so it was not a big deal to have that app either.

These would be great, in theory. A simple plug that you can turn on and off from your phone. These do not live up to that promise. They: randomly stop connecting to the Wi-Fi, and have to be reset and set up again; when you try to fix that issue by updating them they get halfway through the firmware update process, and then stop responding, totally bricked and never to be used again; and when linked to Google Home, which they are supposed to support, they randomly stop working until you remove them and relink them to Google. In reality they probably work > 90% of the time but for a device that should simply turn on or off a light via voice command that’s not good enough, spending 5, 10, 20 minutes troubleshooting them repeatedly makes them massively frustrating. Stay away. FWIW, I’m in a 600 square foot apartment with a brand new router, none of my other devices ever have issues.

Ease of use and setup

It’s a great timer to have especially when your away. Turn lights etc. on and off from your smart phone.

El modelo que recibí es la versión 2021. Comparado con la versión antigua estos se programan desde la aplicación de Wyze a través de Bluetooth, por lo que es necesario tener en el celular el Bluetooth activo y darle permiso a la aplicación de ubicación mientras se usa para que la programación fluya sin problema. Mientras se programa solo se introduce la red y clave de wifi y funcionan perfecto.

Me gustó mucho el producto, lástima que no he podido programar los horarios de encendido. El tamaño es muy bueno ya que te deja espacio para el otro enchufe. Probé otra marca "redonda NO RECOMENDABLE". Comprare más productos WYZE¡. MUY BUENO Y PRÁCTICOS, SIN FALLAS. PAQUETE A TIEMPO Y BIEN PROTEGIDO

Excellent product. Easy to setup and easy to use even after a power failure.

Emits high frequency sound that is upsetting to animals. Had to return.
