If you cut the rubber down it works on older models
So I got this for a Monoprice 21826, which is a rebadged Gaomon PD1650. Inside, they have Huion guts, which is neat. I found out when I opened the tablet up to loosen the board, so I could test the cable. I wasn't surprised when I found that it worked just fine. The cable looks like it was redesigned to make it less backwards compatible or something. I don't know why they'd redesign the cable, honestly, but I do know that I whittled down the extra wide overmold on the USB-C connector and it fit in the case fine, and it worked fine, so it's totally compatible* with older Monoprice and Gaomon tablets (and likely a bunch of other brands since this is really a Huion tablet with a different screen and case) *If you take a knife and lop off the sides of the cable overmolding

Purchased to make another item work.
This item was purchased in hopes that the pen would work for the new drawing tablet received for Christmas. It did not fix the problem and was therefore returned. Can't say if the cable was good or not, since the tablet pen never worked to begin with.

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE
From looking for a good hour on Amazon and AliExpress, i found out that the thicker end is for the New version of the tablet and the smaller end is for the old. This product is for the old version. My pic here is to show the difference. Also, if you check the images on the new cables (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077VY9K3M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) you can see that one end is thicker.

Does not work for a PD1560
This literally doesn’t fit in the gaomon PD1560 tablet. I thought I had made a mistake by ordering the wrong cable but I have a PD1560 and the cable will not fit in the port on my tablet.

I bought it because my current PD1560's cable is having issues. On the left is my current cable, on the right is the one I purchased. It just doesn't fit, and that model isn't sold anymore in Canada. There's no way of getting a new cable. Why advertise in the first place if the product doesn't fit the PD1560 model.

works perfectly for my gaomon PD1161! i broke the hdmi plug(into the tablet) cable about a year ago so i bought this to replace it for xmas and it works PERFECT! my screen tablet is back! ^^ it's also lighter(?) than the old cable which is very handy
