So reliable
I absolutely love this thermometer! I bought it a few years ago when I had my first child and lost it in the shuffle of moving from house to house. I was finally able to re-order it and I’m so happy that I did. This thermometer has different ways of taking temperature. First is through the rectum, which I do not use. The second way is orally or armpit. Although my children are too young to feel comfortable taking their temperature orally, the armpit option seems to be the best fit for us. I like that there is a color light indicator whether there is a fever present or not. My toddler has taken two making it a game when I check her temperature to see if her body is “good to go green“. It also helps that there is a quick temperature display where it only takes a few seconds and then if she is patient enough to allow for the full test to proceed, it gives a true temperature shortly after. The battery life is very nice. Although I say that after only using it a few times and not needing to charge the battery. My children don’t get sick enough, but it is a handy tool to have when the concern does come around. It’s very easy to clean after use as it is just a simple wipe and back into the carrying case it goes. I would absolutely recommend this thermometer to anybody looking for a convenient option that is easy to use for young children and easy to read for older adults

Surprisingly Easy & Super Accurate
As a first-time mom, I was a little nervous about using a rectal thermometer, but the Frida Baby one made it so simple and stress-free. The design is really smart — it has a short, flexible tip and a wide base so you can’t insert it too far, which gave me peace of mind. It also gives a super fast and accurate reading (in about 10 seconds!), which is a huge relief when you’re dealing with a fussy or sick baby. It’s easy to clean, feels sturdy, and even has a little case to keep it sanitary. Honestly, rectal temps are the most accurate for infants, and this thermometer makes it way less intimidating. I’m so glad we added this to our baby kit — it’s one of those things you don’t think you’ll need until you really need it. Highly recommend for any parent with a newborn or infant! It’s compact, easy to clean, and feels like it was actually designed by parents who get it. I trust it way more than the old-school thermometers. If you’ve got little ones at home, this is one of those products that’s totally worth it.

Good baby thermometer
Seems to work well. We have only used it under the armpit so far. Make sure you adjust the setting to the correct usage though! For example, we had to change it from rectal mode to underarm mode.

Has worked well for me
This has worked perfectly for me! There is controversy on which type of thermometer to use. I never had to try any others, this one has always given me a reliable reading.

Works Well But Expensive for What It Is
As a new parent, I wanted a reliable thermometer for our baby, and the Frida Baby 3-in-1 has been a solid choice. It works well and has useful features, but I have to be honest about the price. What Works Well: Accurate Readings: The thermometer provides consistent and reliable temperature readings across all three modes. This is the most important feature, and it delivers. 3-in-1 Functionality: Having the option to take rectal, underarm, or oral temperatures is convenient. For our newborn, we primarily use the rectal mode as it's most accurate for infants, but it's nice knowing we can switch to other methods as our baby grows. Quick Results: The readings are fast, which is crucial when dealing with a fussy, sick baby. You don't want to struggle for long trying to get an accurate temperature. Easy to Read Display: The digital display is clear and backlit, making it easy to read even in dim lighting during those middle-of-the-night fever checks. Memory Function: It stores previous readings, which is helpful for tracking temperature trends when monitoring an illness. Hygiene: Easy to clean and sanitize between uses, which is essential for baby products. The Price Issue: Here's my main reservation - this thermometer is quite expensive for what it is. At the end of the day, it's a digital thermometer. While the Frida brand is well-known for baby products and the quality is good, you're definitely paying a premium for the brand name. There are other digital thermometers on the market that offer similar 3-in-1 functionality at a fraction of the cost. They may not have the same sleek design or brand recognition, but they can provide equally accurate readings for much less money. For a device that essentially does one thing - measure temperature - the price feels inflated. Yes, it works well and is reliable, but I question whether it's really worth 2-3 times the price of comparable thermometers. Value Consideration: If budget isn't a concern and you prefer established baby brands, this is a quality product that won't disappoint. However, if you're trying to be cost-conscious (and what new parent isn't?), you might want to explore other options that provide the same functionality for less. I'm giving it 4 stars because it performs its function excellently, but I can't give it 5 stars when the price-to-value ratio isn't quite there. It's a good thermometer that's just too expensive for what it is.
