Higher quality and sturdier than I had anticipated. I have a rectangular 16 x 32 ft pool with a fairly substantial solar cover. The reel assembled easily (took about 90 minutes). Attached securely and squarely to solar cover. With my wife on one side to anchor the stand guide the cover, and me on the other to crank the wheel and guide the cover, we rolled the cover squarely and very easily onto the reel. I’m very pleased.

I bought this for my 15'x32" rectangular swimming pool. Easy to assemble although the instructions were missing a step...it was easy enough to figure out. This one comes with slide in clips, not velcro like others here have said. It is very light, yet the materials seem sturdy. I set it up with my 12 year old son and it works really well. If you have 2 people to help guide it as you roll/unroll it, it works best. But my 12 year old can still roll and unroll by himself. It is also easy to roll to the side of our house with the solar cover rolled up to hide it when guests are over. I personally think it looks better than the white rollers that just sit there.

These are super strong, small medium weight magnets. They work great are not breakable! They hold a lot more than you would think for being such small magnets. Great to use on your shop or home! Price was good and the quality is great.

The product quality is outstanding. It's much better than the worn and saggy reel it replaced. There are, however, two areas that need improvement. #1 is the assembly instructions. Assembly is quite simple but the instructions rely almost completely on pictures. I few words at each stage would make assembly a bit easier. #2 The reel is shipped in two packages. Competitors use shorter tubes, allowing for a smaller box. The Vingli uses just 3 tubes, allowing for a stronger, stiffer reel, but it means the box is very long and leaves no way to pack everything in a single box. That's not a problem, two boxes. The problem is box 1 is shipped with a tracking number and all the info Amazon is famous for. Box 2 is a ghost. Amazon closes shipping info after box 1. The only hint that there is a 2nd box it some printing on the first box that I didn't see until I finally discovered a second box was coming. I suggest Amazon and Vingil both make a better effort to explain the other parts are not missing, they are coming in another shipment. Tracking for that shipment would help. Mine were several days apart.

Easy to put together and works well. Light enough to move around by myself. I initially put it together to extend to its full 18' length. It sagged a little in the middle. My pool is 16' wide, to I shortened it and used the sturdier screws. That eliminated the sag. As with any roller need to make adjustments (closer of further to pool edge, etc.) so the cover doesn't bunch up to one side.

its not that hard to assemble, you cut it depending on the shape of your pool- ours is like a peanut, so when removing it it was a bit weird but that was ok. Tried pulling it from one end but found that it was actually easier to clip it from the middle and go from there. uncovering is easy, when you want to cover the pool again, one person has to go one way and another person the opposite or else both ends end up going the same direction. anyways, it did help to protect the water from some dust storms, and to keep the temperature nice when we used the water heater- 3 months in, the part where the clips went, started ripping, so had to clip from another place which made it shorter. At the end of the summer we just took it off because the little black bubbles were falling off and instead of keeping it clean, it was making a mess. Read the warranty but it's truly a mess so you won't even bother trying. Buy it for the summer, if your pool is just a regular square/rectangle, might be even more easy.

This reel was fairly easy to assemble and DID come in separate boxes ON SEPARATE DAYS, just as the description states. The reel does work very well, as long as you have two people rolling the cover up to hold the reel in place, unless you are bolting or locking one end to hold it in place. The placement of the straps to the reel is key and you have to have your straps adjusted so the tension is even across the cover as you wind it up. Sounds basic but when you do not have a rectangular pool or straight line edge on the end that the straps attach to, you will need to adjustments each strap. The straps are very easy to adjust so this is not a difficult task to to do. I was disappointed that the attachments from the reel to the lines were velcro instead of the slide in clips that were described. I also do wish that the reel came with a long line that could be attached to the other end of the cover so you can unroll from the other side of the pool. At the end of the day, the reel works well, it winds and unwinds smoothly so far. Moving the reel when the cover is on is not bad but it is a 18 foot pole with a decent amount of weight on it, but is doable with the wheeled end. Good for the price but could have some minor changes to make it better.
