In most cases, companies bend the truth in their marketing. In this case I am glad this company is bending the truth about using this glove with touch screens. Touch screen gloves are worthless gloves. Most touch screen gloves have no insulation in the fingertips which means no protection from the cold. The last time I used a touch screen glove I had to end my walk and turn around because my fingers were numb. Today in 20 degree temperature with 8 wind speed my hands were toasty warm. The inside of the palm and fingers is covered with polyurethane which is car tire rubber. That is a good insulator and water proofer. It is tough enough to protect the hands when shoveling snow. The backs are made with polyester which is backed with a waterproof membrane which is breathable enough to prevent sweating. On my 1 mile walk today my hand felt good so I extended it to 2 miles. The gloves seem flexible enough to be active, but I don't think they are flexible enough for cross-country skiing. They are probably too warm for cross-country. I would be comfortable using these gloves down to zero or below with a thin glove liner. Addendum: I said these gloves couldn't be used for touchscreens but they opened my car with fingerprint lock. I then used them after going out in the winter with glove liver. The glove liner was not rated as touchscreen and the glove still opened the phone and typed a tele number. I wouldn't want to do this much but it is possible. I think the rubber on the inside of the fingers must be conductive to fool the touchscreen into thinking it is the finger. They might add carbon black like the car tires. The bulk of the warm glove would make playing games or social media difficult.

These gloves are very comfortable and allow you to move your hands easily, which I really liked. The material feels well made, and they fit nicely overall. In my experience, they don’t keep my hands as warm as I expected on their own in very cold weather. I used a pair of air-activated hand warmers inside the gloves, and that made a huge difference. The warmers were labeled to last up to 10 hours, but they stayed warm inside the gloves for almost 24 hours. I have slim hands and ordered a size Medium. They fit, but I think a Small would have been a better choice for me. Overall, these are comfortable gloves, especially if you pair them with hand warmers for extra warmth.

A good well made and comfortable glove. The cuff is a little narrow perhaps but OK. They seem to be fully waterproof and they are nice and lightweight
