Valve NPT 2'' 2-Way Motorized Ball Valve AC24V/DC12-24V Electrical Ball Valve CR2-02 Stainless Steel 304 with Indicator and Manual Override

This is a very well built item, no burrs, nice finish, apparently good quality control. Opens and closes just as described. The manual open/close is accomplished by using provided hex wrench that clips on the back of the unit, a nice touch. As to longevity, that remains to be seen but things are looking good at this point. I installed it on a 2" line coming from a 4500 gallon water tank, just prior to the irrigation pump. I used a 20 second time-on delay relay for the 24 volt irrigation timer signal that activates the 24vac pump power relay and this 24vac valve, so the valve gets the signal first and fully opens just befoe the pump activates. It works great. Then, when it is off, it is OFF, no water comes through this valve and I don't have irrigation seepage through the pump and through downline diaphram valves any longer. It's worth the price, should have done this a long time ago.

Bought 2. One of them works good. 2nd would not close all the way, requested a replacement. They sent 2 instead of one. I tried just replacing the gear but still wouldn't close so the valve appeared to be the issue. Replaced and working great for 1 week so far. Crossing fingers 🤞 The housing and ball valve appear to be excellent quality. Gear mechanism appears good also. Two good features is the ability to manually open or close in case it fails, and the indicator tells you the position of the valve.

Plastic actuator cover broken on 2 valves that I ordered. Shipping box did not appear to be damaged.
