Frigidaire 240323002 Single Unit Door Bin for Refrigerator, Clear Plastic, 20 in

Our door bin broke after 7 years of use, found this on Amazon for a much better price than through the manufacturer. It arrived in good condition, no cracking or issues -- the bins are made to be a snug fit as you put them in so they don't fall out. So, I would recommend slowly easing the bin onto the hooks so that you can slightly bow the plastic if needed -- that way you won't end up with a broken bin before it gets on your fridge. I anticipate this lasting many years.

I ordered this as a replacement for the one inside my fridge, which broke due to someone removing it and not placing it back correctly. The part fits fine, holds more than it looks like it would, in terms of weight. Just make sure it's installed good. It's got two tabs in back, one on each side, that slide into slots on the fridge door. All you have to do is make sure both tabs are in their respective slots, and that it's seated down good. No Problems.

These bins are made so fragile, hubby broke it the second week of having the fridge. This one is the same way, however, we know now to be very careful and that we can get a quick replacement if needed. Glad I didn't have to go back to the manufacturer for another one. This was convenient and fast, and fits perfectly. Frigidaire Refrigerator.

You've probably noticed that people have had lots of problems with this product breaking off at the ends where it connects to the refrigerator door. I've given it five stars thus far because it's doing what it's supposed to be doing and hasn't broken-so far. The original bin broke after several years and I didn't know why. I think I MAY have found the answer. When installing the bin for the first time or after you've removed it to clean it, you need to pay extra attention to making sure that not only the clear plastic clips on the ends of the bin are properly hung over the corresponding molded tabs on the fridge door, but ALSO (and I think this is the critical step) you MUST make sure that the clear plastic clips on the bin are ALSO stuck into a second, much smaller set of white molded tabs on the fridge door. This second set are a little hard to see and, in my opinion, should have been made so they stick out further than they do. Failing to make sure this procedure is done correctly probably puts too much strain on the bin's clips which causes them to fail sooner or later (sooner if heavy items are placed in the bin. Frigidaire has made two mistakes here: they didn't mold the door tabs properly AND they fail to make it clear to consumers how the bins should be installed (e.g. a sticker on the fridge door with a picture of a properly installed bin would have been a great idea).

I went to Home Depot, the dealer of my five-year old refrigerator, to look into a replacement for a broken door bin. Employee pleasantly gave me a business card to look-up replacement parts for Home Depot provided products. (I really enjoy dealing with HD employees, they are always most helpful.) I looked up and easily found the replacement item I needed, $40. That seemed a little high for a basic 4"x16" plastic bin. Used the helpful information from the HD website to see if Amazon might offer the same item a little more affordable. Purchased my replacement bin from Amazon for $13, and received it promptly a few days later.

Basically this is a review of the product itself, not the vendor. These Frigidaire Door Bins are too fragile or poorly as upon installation I was very careful to fit the arms into the door tabs which is in itself a difficult task as both arms have to be fitted together and then it is a struggle to push the bind down until it is fully seated. Again as the bins approaches the final seating position, I was very careful not to push down hard but once again the arm broke and it is very frustrating. Since two bins were provided I decided to try it again but decided to leave it about 1/4" from where it should be fully seated. This is working and hopefully will last but there is no way I can remove it to wash and put it back. The risk is too high of breaking. This is a second vendor I have used to purchase these bins and it both cases the bins look exactly the same and break the same way. I wish I could get half my money back but it is not the vendors fault. My recommendation is to avoid pushing the bins all the way down.

Arrived on time and fits the fridge. Unfortunately, the Frigidaire products don’t seem to last very long. We have owned the fridge for seven years and this is the second time we are replacing this specific bin and we have had to replace other door bins and shelf racks too.

Fits our fridge perfectly! Prices high but quality reflects this. Seems to be of very good quality, holding up very well so far!

I have purchased 3 others from various other vendors, one broke after a week of use, the second broke after a month of use (they were both far cheaper than this one) and the third one from Ologymart came delivered in pieces..stay away from them. But finally this one works like a charm, perfect exact replacement part! Just great!!
