EXOOTER M1350BK Adult Scooter In Black. Review: Muscular Scooter for Adults - TL;DR: Great, sturdy, fast scooter for adults, but a bit heavy. I bought this scooter to replace my Razor Pro Model. I took a bad spill from that scooter (which had started to fall apart after two years of only intermittent use) after trying to cross a line on the pavement that I thought was paint, but was rubber, which acted as an unexpected brake for my front wheel. Ouch. I was looking for a scooter that was a little more muscular, with bigger wheels, but which was not crazy expensive. I did a ton of research before making a purchase and considered just about every scooter line out there: Xootr, CityGlide, Micro, KickPed, even handmade Amish bike scooters. Oxelo really appealed to me, but they're not available in my country. I watched a very positive unboxing video regarding this scooter that mentioned it was modeled after an Oxelo Town 7, so I decided to go for it. I needed the scooter to get from one part of a university campus to another, and the route is basically downhill from parking lot to class and uphill from class to parking lot. This means that I have to carry (or wheel) the scooter back to my car pretty much every time I use it. Hence, I was hoping that the scooter would be lightweight. It's not completely un-portable, especially for someone bigger and stronger than I am, but a mile is a very long way to walk with it over your shoulder (it comes with a strap that will certainly hold it without breaking, but which *feels* flimsy and digs into your shoulder like crazy). It fits into the corner of a classroom or the trunk of a car pretty easily, but it doesn't fold down small enough to be anything but cumbersome when carrying it. That said, you trade portability for sturdiness. I've never felt unsafe on this scooter, even though I was really gun-shy after the fall I took. Its shocks take bumps amazingly well for hard tires, it's no problem going over small cracks and manhole covers, and it's got a wide and long deck. I'm about 5'3" and 135 pounds, and it feels roomy to me, as if I could be taller or heavier and it would be fine. It feels a lot more like a bike than a child's toy (like my Razor did) - or, really, it feels like a grownup's scooter, not a kid's. Getting from the parking lot to class is fun and fast. I think read a review that said this scooter's wheels didn't spin as easily as other scooters'. I've never noticed this; it goes plenty fast enough for me when I'm on the way downhill! You do have to be careful locking the folding mechanism in or out, but if you take a half-second to test it before riding it, you'll be fine. It folds and unfolds easily enough. All in all, I recommend this scooter for adults. It's a good balance of portable and sturdy, it's fun to ride, and it's very good quality for its price range. Review: Built like a tank Exooter wins!! - This scooter is built like a tank idk why there are any negative reviews on here.. ? I mean seriously its so durable.. 200 mm wheels abec 5 bearings for ehhhh ok speed.. Switched them out with Bones swiss bearings makes a world of difference.. Try front and back wheels spinning for 2:47 seconds one spin!!! Stock abec 5's only spun 22 seconds max.. Big difference Anyways back to review.. The deck is solid.. Thr handle bars are near perfect.. The shocks om both wheels really do justice.. Ive already hopped of ledges.. Curbs.. Cleared man holes.. Gone of ramps and the reviews say its not meant for this well.. Heres the trick ok that may be so but like the directions say tighten everything down before riding.. I did just that.. My frame is all Tighened up on the scooter.. Including adjusted shocks on the bottom.. This thing is now built for jumping Im 6'2 and 182 pounds.. But not once has the scooter ever failed on me even after hopping off a 4 foot ledge.. I just tonight bought new district Grip tape for a whopping $10.00 lol at action ride shop.. And like I said Replaced the bearings with $45 bones swiss not a big deal.. Now when I ride down hill it acts gets scary lol Ive hit 14 mph to say an estimate.. , bottom line dont buy the razor A5 thats still a good scooter but if u want one that will last you sometime get this Exooter and forget the Xootr. . The micro.. The crisp. . Def the fuzion lol.. This exooter is the bad boy of choice.. Excellent for the value.. Couldnt be happier.. Jus remember to replace the grip tape and the bearings. . Everything else you will love. . Ps: for the ones who cant read directions amd didnt tighten everything properly thats your own fault not the manufacturer.. Good. Job Exooter for making a durable high quality product.. #100 #Salute

Good product, great glide and easy steering
Good product, great glide and easy steering. I had to tighten a bunch of bolts to make things solid, but now it functions well. Only complaint was that the handlebar pip didn't fit into the stalk. I had to use a screw driver to pry apart the clasp mechanism to insert the handlebar. It was clearly a factory mistake, as the paint was already chipped around the handlebar pipe. I got it in though, and it works great. It is a little high for a 5'9 and 160lb rider, so I definitely have to bend my knee to push with the other leg. The shocks are solid and handle large cracks and periodic gravel. Do not ride on slick surfaces.

Lighr weight, solid construction, smooth ride
Light wieht and super portable. I keep this scooter in the trunk so I can make trips anywhere around my parked car...very important when you live in a big city where parking can be far away. The ride is super smooth...the spring suspension wheels really helps. I can ride over many bumpy gravel payment, or man hole covers, or even large gaps in the concrete slabs without any issues. It is not much slower than a bike but allows you to take it to work or gym and store it in a locker or sit on the floor. You cannt do that with a bulky bike. Big wheels makes for faster speed and better to get over any bumps. No issues tripping over or anything. Breaks works great!! Make sure everything coins and locked in place before stepping on. I never had any issues with it accidentally folding during a ride. Double check everything. This is a very well constructed product and feels solid. I highly recommend this to adults or kids. And for the person for needs to commute from a train staytion or bus...this is your ride!!!

Great for Boston commute from train to office
Purchased this scooter for my commute into Boston. It's 1.5 miles from the train station to my office and this is all-around a better option than a folding bike. Here's why: - lighter, more compact and easier to manage on/off the train than a folding bike - faster to set-up & tear down - 1/3 the price of a low-end bike and 1/10 the price of the high-end bikes - I can transition to being a pedestrian quickly if I need to move to the sidewalk One of my co-workers has a bike and we cover the 1.5 mile distance in roughly the same time and it's much easier/faster for me to unfold the scooter & head out while he's still messing with the bike and then at the office, he's folding the bike & stowing for longer than I am. Quality-wise, this scooter is solid and I've not experienced any of the issues the others have mentioned.

Where's the Quality Control & Customer Service?
It seems I'm not the only one that had issues with the quality of this scooter. It doesn't seem like Exooter has any quality control, or my problems & perhaps other purchasers would have been culled from the sellable stock. Also, the problems may stem from what I think is it being over-designed. The design concept is great, the execution, not so much. In particular, my Exooter had these 3 issues: 1. Handle bars- right-side handle bar clamp was bent, making it very difficult to insert handle bar. After prying clamp wider, I was able to insert right handle bar into clamp. 2. Unfolding- when unfolding, deck doesn't snap into a locked position, making deck sag downward. Only after exerting a tremendous amount of forward pressure on handle bars would it snap locked. 3. Folding- the deck/handle bar wouldn't fold. I exerted pressure on the handle bars, in both directions & it still wouldn't fold. I checked out 2 videos on youtube to see if I was doing it right. It's locked tight. I finally got one of my strong man friend to collapse it & he did so with some difficulty. Returning it to A-Kick-Scooter exooter was rather laborious. When I couldn't get it folded back into it's original shipping container, they dragged their feet in processing the return. I assured them that it was defective & no amount of videos, calls from A-kick & verbal instruction would collapse it. Then when I got my buddy to collapse it, they sent me a shipping label to return it AT MY EXPENSE. I had to appeal that, as well & after a few days they sent me a shipping label, pre-paid. So, yes, room for improvement in both quality & materials, as well as customer service. I ended up buying the much less expensive Razor A5 LUX. It's super-easy to fold & unfold. Simple, elegant design. The EXooter would be fine if you never needed to collapse it... I guess.

Loved the scooter
Loved the scooter. I'm 6'0 200lb dude. Had it for about 3-4 months until the day I decided to do some jumps. The bottom part sorta snapped & the scooter elevation got lower. It just started scratching the surface on most of the bumps. I gave it to a friend of mine who is like 5'2 & 120 points. She loves it.

I pretty impress with this scooter
I pretty impress with this scooter. I'm an adult in the 50's about 5"11 weigh in the 200. Have 11 shoe size and I can say this thing ride smooth. The shocks and the breaking system works great. And the wheels glide very smooth so combine that with the shocks large wheel it rides very nice even on bumpy road. Not too much noise coming from this scooter vs the razor a5 blue. Handle length is higher than the a5. My complain so far is the unlocking and locking when folding it up. It's a little hard but if you adjust the screw locks it help a little. And another is the part that hold the handle broke off. And also my unit came with scratches and some painting issues. Other than that I like it. Key is how smooth it glides. Specially with my height and weight and shoe size. This is a keeper. Not that heavy and the strap to carry scooter is a welcome. I wish the handle holder didn't break. I will update in a couple weeks to see how it holding up and if anything change. For now I will give it 3 and half star being the handle bar holder broke off. Will update with picture next to my razor A5 later.
