Good Humdifier
I’ve gone through a few humidifiers before, and this is easily the best one I’ve used. It’s easy to clean, quiet (even without the noise dampening piece), and it works well. I’ve had it for just over a month, and I like it. There are a few cons: 1) Believe the directions when it suggest cleaning every couple of days. This thing gets dirty quickly, unlike some humidifiers where cleaning it once a week is sufficient. 2) It doesn’t actually hold as much water as it claims. From empty, adding a full gallon of water causes it to become overfilled and not work properly. 3) The light on the plug is EXTREMELY bright. I use it in my bedroom at night, and the light was so bright that I had to actually put something over the plug. 4) This thing STINKS when you first take it out of the box. Even after cleaning it, it was still very stinky. It has since aired out, thankfully. 5) This thing is confusing to put together the first time. I am very used to putting stuff together, and it took me longer than it should have.

Motors keep dying, lack of customer support, expensive replacement
The motors keep dying. I am not the only one. I have 4 Miros, they replaced 2 motors and now have gone radio silent. The motors are currently $45+$10shipping on their website; I think it used to be $40 but I could be wrong. You can likely expect the prices to go up in the future, or just be discontinued at some point rendering all your units useless anyway. It's worth noting that I have a much older unit and that motor has been perfectly fine. The fan on the new motors rust and oxidize, and the motors themselves burn out after 3-6 months it's absolutely ridiculous. They 100% cheaped out on quality with the current parts and are continuing to charge a premium. The rest of the design is fine, it's relatively easy to clean except for the nooks and crannies in certain parts. The heart of the unit, the motor, is absolute junk and they will not help you much.

Effective, quiet, cleanable, simple, elegant
This is positioned to provide a mist when sleeping. I am using what Miro calls the sound mufflers which also all directing the mist and controlling the location of air induction. Everything snaps together/apart. No tools needed. It is very easy to thoroughly clean all non-electronic components, which is most everything. The mist generator is easily cleaned with a Clorox wipe. Styling is moden/mid-century which happens to be our style but is a matter of taste. Cannot speak to reliability as it has seen limited use.

The only truly washable humidifier out there that's worth your money
Pros: quiet, completely washable, not ugly, easy to control mist levels Cons: no humidistat- so I have to wake up at night to increase mist as heat blows more; does not project mist well and nozzle has only one spout We wash well with Dawn soap with a clean bottle brush and wash cloth at least once per week, preferably twice. Each day we also dry parts and replace water, using only distilled water. This is the only humidifier my son will have in his room at night. I think the constant flow of mist is less disruptive to his sleep, versus one with a humidistat that turns the mist off and on. It would be great if Miro could make a humidifier with a humidistat that kept humidity within a range without shutting off and on like all other brands out there. That's their next challenge on the quest for making the perfect humidifier!

Does a good job, but might not last very long.
It was a pretty good humidifier at first, I used it for one winter, put it away, then took it out this year and it worked for about a month before the mist maker module malfunctioned. The replacement is $45 before shipping, and if this means a yearly cost of over $45 to run it, then I'm going to be looking elsewhere. Miro even has statements on their website that replacing this module every one or two years is to be expected. While it it easy to completely disassemble, their claim of ease of cleaning isn't exactly true. The vast majority of the surfaces are easy to wipe down, but there are quite a number of nooks and crannies that prove very difficult or almost impossible to fully clean the biofilm out of. Especially on the fan blades of the seemingly fragile mist producer, those require a q-tip to fully clean and I eventually got sick of spending half an hour to 45 minutes cleaning it every few days.

So far, it's great
I've only had this for about a month, so there's a chance I could change my review, but I am very pleased with the humidifier so far. My number one factor in recommending this humidifier is the fact that, true to advertisement, it can be fully washed. It is easy to take apart and put back together and scrub down. I do so every two days because we live on well water and I cannot afford distilled water to fill it at all times, so I clean it regularly and it is not a chore to do so. It holds quite a bit of water and works out so that when I want to clean it, its just about empty. I like how easy it is to use and I think it's rather quiet - but I also don't mind a little white noise while I'm trying to sleep.

Parts break easily and there isn't any customer service
CUSTOMER SERVICE WARNING: While the washable component of the humidifier is great and the mist is quiet and strong when working, the engine mister breaks quickly, the company charges more than $40 to ship you a new part (on top of almost $50 for the new part), and it doesn't keep track of past purchases to help customers whose engines have broken. In addition, the company website's customer support phone number links to an account that is not affiliated with the company. This whole thing screams sham. I've spent over $200 on replacement parts to keep the original humidifier running. Look into another company until Miro America works out its customer service issues.

An almost perfect humidifier
As a rule, humidifiers on the market are bulky, ugly, and/or very difficult to clean. The Miro is an exception this rule. It has a slightly large footprint but its extreme modularity make it extraordinarily easy to clean. For the first time in years, I can go to sleep without worrying that I'll be inhaling mold particles. Perhaps it's a bit too modular; I believe the design can be simplified a bit. But the positives far outweigh the negatives. It is made of high-quality plastic, looks elegant, and does its job with a minimum of fuss. This is one of those rare products that one knows will flourish in the marketplace through sheer word-of-mouth. Buy it.

Close to perfection
At first look, it appears fragile and delicate. (So keep it out of reach from small kids.) But the floating motor is a brillant and efficient idea. You can fill the tank without moving it. Absolutely silent at all low or hight settings. Incredibely easy to clean all part of the product. Great design. Reasonable price.

Stopped working after 6 months customer service is awful
I bought 2 of these. One of them had only been used a handful of times (only when my son was sick) I noticed it wasn’t working one night and when I looked at it, it was warm and had a crack in it. The cracked piece is now filled with water that will not come out so it’s likely going to grow mold… I purchased this humidifier for the simple reason I could actually wash all the parts and prevent mold. Customer support has been absolutely awful to deal with. I submitted a ticket and hadn’t heard back from them in a week. We then went on vacation and when I didn’t reply for a week they closed my ticket. I have put several requests in to have my ticket reopened and have never heard anything back… it’s been a month. I even tried to open new tickets which have gone unanswered. These are pretty expensive humidifiers I’d expect better.
