It's not as fragrant or as effective as a cleanser, but it has a pleasant scent and I'll continue using it. The scent is more on the floral and slightly sweet side (but not too floral), not as woodsy or spicy as I prefer, but it's nice. Pros: - bar is soft and buttery, feels good against the skin - lathers well - gentle on the skin - smell is not overbearing - washes off completely with no residue - packaging of the individual bars is biodegradable Cons: - as a softer bar, it wears down faster than any soap I've ever used; I wish the bars were larger so I didn't feel like I was unwrapping a new bar every week - not very efficient as a cleanser, takes 2-3 passes to take off grime - a tad more drying than other handmade soaps (but overall very gentle) - scent doesn't last longer than an hour or two I'm usually covered with vegetable-based polishing compounds after work, but those who don't get as dirty as I do might appreciate how gentle it is.
