Cuts through rope very well

Excellent quality. Razor sharp. Good easy lock blade. I use it as a garden knife for harvesting things like Swiss chard, chives, zucchini squash n cucumbers. Its a great knife. Youll love it! Victorinox is first class!

This review is for the Victorinox Swiss Classic Foldable Paring Knife with "wavy" edge. A good lightweight food prep utility knife perfect for camping or home use. I have two now - one in green and one in red. The folding function protects the blade and has a locking feature when open for safety. Be careful as this knife is very sharp. I like this knife so much I may buy a few more.

Bought it to keep in a car for food. This is the mother of all knives. It has a sharp serrated edge and stores safely. It might seem a tad expensive compared to Chinese stuff, but go wild and buy it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I am familiar with Victorinox products so I had to try this knife. I wasn't disappointed. It oerates extremely smoothly and locks/unlocks easily. It is very sharp and cuts steak easily which means one may use it in a restaurant.

It is a very good little knife that we bring along when travelling. It is easy to fold it and just pack it with the rest of the baggage. The steel seems good and it cuts very well. I can also confirm that we have ran it through the dishwasher and it does not get damaged.
