I recently discovered I have lead poisoning so was really excited to find a cup that filters lead.It actually holds the amount of water in a regular 16 oz water bottle. I fill a regular water bottle with tap water and put it in the fridge and use it to refill this cup so I always have cold water. It's definitely smaller but I find myself drinking more than I did from the brita. The straw does take a little getting used to because it's an odd shape but works just fine.
