Very useful and well built item which combines all the features of several components (that other manufacturers would sell separately) all in one compact unit.

Gone the full Renogy set up and this dc to dc charger and mppt is absolutely quality. For the money it’s hands down cheaper than buying them seperate and with the Bluetooth connection you have everything you need.

Simple and easy to install, straight forward instructions included.

Purchased this item after changing my solar van system & replacing battery with lithium. Unable to get system to register Solar charge. After completely replacing all wires, terminals, connectors, fuses etc & getting multimeter readings to point of contact with controller, it seemed the controller was at fault as all other issues for troubleshooting where address & replaced. Renogy replaced item after 3months of me trying to get to the bottom of the issue. However, replacement had exactly same issue. I have spent MONTHS trying to sort all this out & now find they will not refund as from a third party seller. I am so annoyed as this is a very expensive purchase to just waste so much time & money on & not get it fixed. Just rubbish!

Easy to install and well worth having in the winter konths when solar panels struggle

Excellent product

I purchased this after buying the 170ah lithium battery from renogy.. After installing the battery and charger into my motorhome I noticed that the charger wouldn't put more than 0.75 amps I to my lithium battery... at first I thought it was because my battery was fully charged but as I went away and used more of my battery it turned out that this charger won't put more than 1 amp in . I have then attached a 120watt solar panel and the app shows that even with solar at 18.7v and alternator at 14.4v it still won't put even 1 amp into my battery which left me with a flat battery that I had to remove and charge in the house.. After numerous emails to renogy and being told to reset it by disconnecting everything I am still no closer to having this resolved.. even after screenshot of their own app showing the voltages and low amps they were wanting me to check my alternator that had a split charge relay on working fine.. I wouldn't recommend spending this much on a dc to dc charger from Renogy as not only are there quite a few youtube videos showing poor software in these but also the customer service is terrible.. I am still sat here with a flat motorhome battery and a nearly £200 paper weight..

Well this bit of kit will not work if pv voltage is over 25v, I will put unit in fault and it will not charge on solar or dc to dc, wast of money, I recommend a 20amp mppt that has a 100v input from pv panel and use a smart charger relay in stead of the dc to dc unit

L'ho montato a primavera, posso dire che fa egregiamente il suo lavoro. Non collegando il positivo dall'alternatore, anche se non è del tipo smar, ho notato che carica fino a 15A, se invece si collega il cavo in dotazione e se la batteria è scarica tanti da assorbirle si arriva anche a vedere 25 A di carica. Gestisce bene l'alternanza pannelli o alternatore, in base al voltaggio della batteria motore BM, per tanto quando il veicolo è in moto e sulla BM ci sono i 14v parte la carica in funzionamento Dc-Dc, una volta spento il motore il regolatore aspetta che la carica della BM scenda per fare lo switch sui pannelli, per cui è normale che subito dopo aver spento il motore il led indichi ancora carica da alternatore. La costruzione è in plastica ma solida, le connessioni dei cavi sono con bulloni abbastanza robusti e ben posizionati ai lati dell'apparato. Non l'ho testato con una batteria litio in quanto non ancora montata, per ora sta funziona benissimo con classica al piombo. Scalda pochissimo.
