Is it for African Americans hair?

I presume so because it is stocked or selves with products for African American hair. However, I am not African American but have very wavy curly hair and love these products. The shampoo is one of my all time favorites. A little goes a long way!

Would this shampoo work good for dreads?

This shampoo is very sudsy and lathers excellent but because you have dreads I don't think this shampoo would be good. Only because when it lathers I tend to rinse for a long time to make sure all the shampoo is out
