No issues at all, needed this as I bought a soundbar which has optical connection only and use a gaming monitor with VRR which has 3.5mm out only for audio. Xbox series x has no optical out and when using a HDMI audio extractor you would lose the ability to use VRR (Variable refresh rate) which is what i experienced and couldn't get used to the downgrade. With this item i am now able to connect the xbox directly to the monitor with a HDMI cable to keep VRR and I use the linkfor adapter to connect from the 3.5mm out of the monitor to the optical in on soundbar so really happy about that as if you've tried gaming with VRR and without there is a noticeable difference with framerate drops and stuttering. Easy to set up, sound quality is unaffected and cable length is good.

I needed a solution to connect my speakerless monitor to my Sonos Beam soundbar via the monitor's 3.5mm audio output socket. The Sonos Beam only has an HDMI input but is supplied with a SPDIF to HDMI adapter cable. To be honest, I had quite low expectations for this LINKFOR analogue to digital converter based upon some of the reviews. I, however, can't fault it. The sound quality from my Xbox Series X via the monitor and LINKFOR converter is great with no whining or high pitched noises as reported by others. Easy to connect and good quality for the price. One happy customer who would have no hesitation buying another.

Have returned for a refund.

The product works as described It's easy to use, just plug in the correct cables in and you're good to go. The only issue I have with it is that you can. Sometimes hear a scraping noise. I find that changing the position of the converter helps. Overall its OK it does what it should.

Parfait pour une télé qui ne possède pas de branchement adéquat, j'ai pris le boîtier pour brancher ma barre de son. Simple à installer et fonctionne sans soucis , pas de perte de son.

Justo lo que necesitaba. Funciona perfectamente y ademas al alimentarse por usb lo puedo conectar al mismo reproductor. Igualmente incluye adaptador DC.

There is no 3.5 aux input on this device! False advertising. Part number is correct.
