Proper battery
Have bought generic 6amh, battery's B4 but proper Milwaukee batteries last a lot longer & have protective rubber around the base which generic 1nz don't so if u can pick a proper 1 up for £1 per amh it's worth getting the real thing

Buy direct from an authorized outlet
Battery failed after one use, Amazon directed me to Milwaukee who claim that Amazon are not an authorized dealer for their products and instructed me to claim from Amazon, feel like I'm stuck in a loop.

Appears genuine, worked until it decided not to.
This appears to be a genuine battery, it has the proper lighting up sequences and things. It worked fine for just under 10 charges or so and then one day while grinding it just cut out. 1 bar blinked 7 times and that was it. It appeared to charge on the charger (went from red to green eventually) and read 20V with a multimeter but still only showed 1 flashing bar and wouldn't power my grinder. So had to return it as faulty and buy a more expensive one from Toolstation. Perhaps I was just unlucky.

La batterie est arrivée déchargée avec une led clignotante. Le vendeur refuse d’assumer sa responsabilité sous prétexte que mon chargeur n’est pas de marque « Milwaukee ». C’est vrai (je l’ai acheté sur le net sans me rendre compte que ce n’était pas un chargeur Milwaukee puisqu’il y ressemble en tous points), mais ça fait 5 ans qu’il charge d’autres batteries Milwaukee, sans aucun souci! Une mauvaise batterie, ça peut arriver. Qu’un vendeur n’assume pas sa responsabilité sous un prétexte aussi fallacieux, c’est à mon sens inadmissible.

Der Milwaukee M18 B5 Akku ist ein zuverlässiger und leistungsstarker 18V-Akku. Mit einer Kapazität von 5,0 Ah bietet der Akku eine ausgezeichnete Laufzeit, bei akzeptablem Gewicht und Größe, die es ermöglicht, auch längere Arbeiten ohne häufiges Nachladen durchzuführen. Mittlerweile gibt es zwar schon moderne (kompatible) Akku-Systeme wie die High Output oder Forge Akkus, aber die altbewährten 5,0 Ah sind nach wie vor für die meisten Geräte noch völlig ausreichend und preislich auch noch deutlich attraktiver.
