Quality and tolerance is the best
This fit perfectly with no effort whatsoever. The 3.14" is spot on. I just pushed it into the recess and tightened the screws down. The last one never fit correctly and eventually fell out and broke (won't say the brand but not Kastlite). I definitely would buy again from Kastlite. It is very lightweight, easy to install and worth every penny.

Great substitute for glass!
This cover is great in areas where they are easily bumped. They look like glass when installed. Would buy again.

Good ceiling fan globe replacement
Have been putting off this purchase for a long while because I had to measure and preferred a glass globe. However, I'm glad I chose this one. it is not glass, but you would never know it until you hold it. Fits my ceiling fan perfect.

Soft filtering without dulling the light
The LED light bulbs that I have are longer than the bulb cover. I don't want the bare bulb hanging from the fan, ugly. I wanted a bulb cover that is deep enough to fit over the longer light bulb. This cover is perfect, it fits the standard fan light collar, it looks good, and I like that it isn't glass. A standard bulb might get hot enough to be problematic, but the LED bulbs don't get hot. LED bulbs are brighter, use less energy, and last a lot longer, so it's worth buying a bulb cover rather than buying standard bulbs For the price, the quality and the appearance, this is a good choice.

Looks nice, don't break
Bought the clear versions for old lamps that are probably from the early 80's. They look nice and aren't fragile like the glass ones. There is a slight vertical line on one side of the globes, but this can be turned to a side that is not viewed -- but also is not horribly obvious.

Bought this and it does not fit the lamp I have, cost me 50$ and I can’t return it. I mad!!
