O-M-G..it works, it really works! I was sceptical..my light brown and dark brown sugar were as hard as a brick, seriously! I followed instructions and within days it was loose and was like I just bought it at the store!! Super easy to use and well worth the cost! I will definitely be buying more to give to my baker friends!!!

This works to keep sugar moist but does not fit in the prokeeper as was recommended; the disc falls through the center hole.

Wow, these brown sugar softener disc really work! I'm actually shocked. I buy brown sugar from Costco in 7.5 lb. bags but the problem is, I can't use it up fast enough and I still have half the bag left. When I got it out to do some Thanksgiving baking, it was one solid rock of brown sugar. I had to chip it off with an icepick. LOL. So I just ran across these discs on Amazon and thought I might as well give it a try. I received them yesterday afternoon, followed the instructions on the package and soaked them in water for 20 minutes. I pounded the brown sugar to break it up so that I could slip the discs down into it. This morning, when I checked the sugar, the entire thing was as soft as if it was a new package! I really am blown away. I thought this was going to be yet another product that didn't deliver, but I was so wrong.

THESE TERRACOTTA CIRCLES FIT MY CONTAINER LIKE A GLOVE. THEY REALLY WIRK WELL. MY BROWN & WHITE SUGARS ARE BOTH FREE OF HARD CLUMPY BALLS. BROWN SUGAR IS PRETTY EASY TO GET OUT TO PACK & MEASURE. Once you soak these disk and put them in your brown sugar, they work immediately. How long they last is another question. I don’t use brown sugar often so after a couple of weeks when I went to use my brown sugar, it had already started to harden again. I will probably soak for longer this time. The brown sugar seemed perfectly fresh and the disks are just the right size.

Wish I didn’t wait so long to purchase these. Followed the directions and it worked immediately. Made my 6-month old container of brown sugar look like fresh brown sugar. My mom and grandmothers always had them so I should have know better!

Finally solved my rock hard brown sugar issue. Since I’ve bought this I’ve had no hard clumps at all! I also love that you can remove the terracotta disc and use elsewhere.

This stuff really works. Thought my brown sugar was doomed until I put these in. magical!

I was sceptical but these do work .. ok it's not perfect as the sugar is a little damp (which may be by design) but the lumps are very soft so yeah no more hard as a rock sugar
