This is an excellent substitute for the original Sony remote that came with the original Sony TV - XBR 55X810C. It is NOT and OEM part from Sony. The remote lasts about a year with daily use. The volume control tends to go first, then the select control, then any other button. Given the economical price I just buy another remote from this distributor and it works fine with the above in mind.

It works like a charm! I was worried it was the tv but it simply needed a remote replacement. There are a ton of these out there that are knock offs-get this one if you need a replacement.

If you need a new remote for your Sony TV, order this one, it is from Sony original. This one works perfect one pushes a button and it works. Ordered an offbrand replacement and it worked but it took four or five times pushing the buttons to get to work.
