For a $50 car stereo, it’s honestly hard to complain too much. I installed this in my vehicle mainly for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and it does what I needed it to do. Wireless CarPlay connected fairly easily, the touchscreen is responsive enough, and the backup camera is a nice bonus at this price point. The sound quality is decent once you adjust the EQ settings, and Bluetooth calling/music streaming have worked fine so far. I also like that it includes steering wheel control compatibility and multiple input options like USB and SD card support. There are a lot of features packed into a pretty inexpensive unit. That said, you can definitely tell it’s a budget item in some areas. The interface can feel a little clunky at times, and the overall build quality isn’t on the same level as higher-end brands. The screen and menus aren’t the smoothest, but they’re still very usable once you get everything set up. Overall, though, for around $50 this unit delivers a surprising amount of functionality. If you go into it expecting a budget-friendly upgrade rather than a premium stereo, it’s a solid value and gets the job done.

This head unit is functional and the display is bright and clear. The interface is easy to use and everything seems to work fine. The down side is the response time is a little laggy. If you’re just listening to song after song you’ll never notice, but if you’re frequently making manual adjustments you’ll notice. Voice commands with CarPlay are a little delayed, but not much different than any other I’ve used before. It looks good and the price is right. Just keep in mind you get what you pay for here.
