So I got some frozen crab from Sam's Club and went home to cook/eat some of it (it was a 2 lb bag). It was hard to eat without a crab cracker and my fondue forks didn't work that great either. We went to Target, WalMart and At Home to grab a crab cracker set and could find a set nowhere so I went on to Amazon to get one while I was in Target. I picked this set since it had a full set for 2 and was a great price. It came 2 days later so I cooked the rest of the crab the next night. It was so much easier to eat the crab and this set was perfect. They seem to be made well and they are very functional.

These seafood tools are very handy. We took them to an all-you-can-eat crab leg buffet and the seafood forks really impressed me (I have never seen or even heard of a seafood fork). When you crack a leg open, the seafood fork was quite effective at easily digging out the remainder of the crabmeat. In the past, I used to take a regular table fork and bend back of the tines to get the meat out. The set is really handy to take with you to a restaurant since you can’t always be sure what utensils they will have. For example, I have never seen a seafood fork at a restaurant, and I will occasionally eat at a restaurant that won’t even have the crackers. For the price, this is a good investment and it will certainly improve your experience when eating crab legs.

Working great for several years. Sees occasional use on our seafood nights. Decent quality and value for the money. Easy to store and clean.

I have been looking for a good set of crab/lobster crackers, and this one fits my needs and budget. Those 8 little pieces are on the thin side and very lightweight. It’s thin and small enough to go into the hard to reach areas. I don’t think they are giftable in my opinion. I hope they won’t rust like my other one. I had to purchase one from Goodcook brand a while back because of the urgency, and it was rusty after one wash, so I’m hopeful this won’t do the same. They are easy to carry everywhere, which is an ideal because I like I go camping and vacations, and I won’t have to worry too much about the weight and bulkiness.

This works exactly as expected, based on using it on Jumbo Alaskan King Crab Legs and Shrimp. The crackers cracked, and the diggers dug. They don't feel flimsy as all, and seem very solid. The only con I have is that there is no bag or anything to store them in. They come in a sealed bubble-wrap package, which is so well sealed you basically destroy it to get them out. Would be nice to have some sort of tray or bag for them. I didn't knock a star off for that, because it doesn't say anywhere that it comes with a bag. I guess I just kind of expected one. Pleased overall with the quality, though, it seems very durable (I was worried they might be too thin and break, but that doesn't seem to be the case here).

I got these for my hubby because he really likes to get cooked crab legs from local seafood restaurants & the little salad forks he was trying to use to get the crab meat out didn't quite work. These were a really great value & are very strong & durable. Only thing of note is they are dishwasher safe but if you put the picks in the dishwasher you might need to line the bottom of the silverware bin with a washcloth or another piece of dishwasher safe fabric to prevent the picks from slipping thru the grates on the bottom of the silverware bin.

I ordered a set for my son and he said they were the best crab forks he had ever used. It easily removes meat from even the small knuckles. I have since ordered 3 more sets to give to friends and one for me too, of course. I agree with his assessment.

Exactly what I was looking for. I eat fresh seafood from time to time and I love crab, so these utensils are perfect.

Quality product with good finish. The shell crackers feel a bit small. Can't handle large size crabs.
