These are much lighter than my current ones and have silicone grips, both of which I really like, as well as being very reasonably-priced.Be advised, though, they don't come with lids, thought they did, but that was my mistake, misread the description.They truly are slick, and non-stick, best I've ever seen, but I do recommend a few things, to maintain and even enhance their durability.1) Season them with vegetable, canola or another high-smoke oil before you first use them-after gently washing them, put 2 tablespoons of oil in the bottom, spreading over the whole surface and sides (a small, soft brush works great, I used a silicone one), and stovetop heat on medium for 4 minutes; remove from heat, and when a little cooler, wipe all the oil off with a soft paper towel, then either re-wash gently, or put away, as is.2) Always hand wash with a soft sponge (not the abrasive side); don't put them in a dishwasher, as it's totally uneccessary, all food residue practically slides out on its own, with just a sponge.3) Use wooden or silicone utensils only (description says you can use metal, but every review and recommendation I've read has said it's much safer for the finish, if you don't, same with using a diswasher).If they begin to lose their non-stick properties, you should just re-season them to renew it, as you can do this as many times as you like, no limit.I love these skillets, just hope they last a long time, with the good care I've denoted.

I love this fry pan. It has a flat bottom to speed up heating. This is my 2nd one. I had the 1st for 4 years. I've cooked omelet's and the heat was very even on the bottom. I don't use the red circle to tell when the pan is hot. I can tell without it. Just a gimmick in my opinion.

Very light weight so seams cheaply made but so far cooks nicely

I have 2 of these in 8" & 10" and they work great and are very easy to clean. I'll never buy anything else.
