These are not meant for plucking hair, entomology is the study of insects haha ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ OK, but wide tip forceps are more rigid than expected *by K***R on July 22, 2018* Before buying these me and my lab mates were sharing a few pairs of bioquip forceps, which are very similar to these but a bit more expensive. So I ordered these to have my own pair. I was surprised when they arrived, I received two pairs of forceps, one is wide tipped as shown in the pictures and one is narrow tipped. I use soft forceps daily for handling live insects, and I prefer softest ones as more rigid forceps can damage the bodies of insects. Oddly, the wide pair I received is significantly stiffer than the bioquip ones, while the more narrow pair is nice and soft. I never use the wide ones as they are too stiff, but the narrow ones are good. So for $7 I got one good pair of forceps I use all the time, and one pair that I don't use. Amazon provides much quicker shipping than bioquip, but for $6 each you can get the bioquip ones.
