I had planned on a tool box for my grandson for Christmas but bought this for the playroom in my house instead. He's very mechanical. Big hit. He didn't need any instructions but went right to work building his version of a rolling/flying wing. There are 100+ pieces so I gave him a bunch of 4 x 6 storage bins. As he opened the packages he very carefully separated everything into the bins with one for the drill, bits, screws etc. We took pictures of his creation and sent them to his parents and other grandparents. When it was time to go home he very carefully put everything into their proper bin then put the bins in a larger box for next time. A carrying bag came with the set so he put the creations into the bag to take home to show dad and mom. This kid is not normally a neatnick but he organized, built his creation, and loved it enough to want to keep it ready to go again. A perfect fun creative toy that kept his attention for well over an hour and would have kept on going if it wasn't time to leave. Even if he hadn't been so mechanical the picture instructions would have been a big help. Definitely recommend for a boy or girl. I can guarantee his 10 year old sister will take her turn.

My grandson has enjoyed building with this set and it’s challenging enough to keep him happy. Pieces are sturdy.

I bought this for my 4 year old boy, and now he is 6 and still playing. He has improved his skills to assembly things, and his imagination. Please consider this rather than a video game or a tablet.

Bought it for my daughter and she absolutely loves it

I bought this for my 8 year old son for Christmas, he loves taking things apart and putting them back together. I was worried if so many pieces would be too complicated for him, but he built everything with ease and then disassembled some and created his own creations. It keeps his hands busy and keeps him entertained. This was a toy I'm happy to recommend.

Grandkids love playing with this!

My daughter turned five just before Christmas and as usual she got bunch a of gifts between the two. She switches out playing between all her new fun things, but this Awesome Educational STEM Experience has reached its way to the top!! She has to play with it everyday and with everyone who is in the house!! We have built everything from dump trucks to baby strollers. Big win for everyone!! … I recommend getting the 30 or *70 piece organizer box to go with it!
