Ateco Ultra Offset Tapered Spatula with 4.75 by .75-Inch Stainless Steel Blade, Plastic Handle, Dishwasher Safe

I was looking for a very flexible thin tapered spatula for an unconventional use -- to use as a tool to efficiently process shucked oysters (i.e. getting in beneath the oyster and cutting the lower muscle close to the the bottom shell) and this fit that use perfectly. The blade on mine came through curved upward, from the widest of the blade (which is indeed offset from the plane of the handle by the shank which bends downward), curving upward forward to the tip. Not sure if there are a couple of versions of these (the other being a flat offset blade, which I have in the wood handle version and use for flipping small items on the grill) or whether mine had been rather smoothly but accidently bent during handling -- but the curved blade was actually a positive for the oyster use -- although it might be less appropriate to, say frosting a cake. I have some other Ateco spatulas and the stainless steel has held up well in the context of outdoor use for grilling.

Great size and the quality is good. Easy to use and easy to clean.

Does the job I need it to do! My only complaint, and this has nothing to do with the shipping or anything, is that they put an adhesive tag on the metal end of the spatula instead of the plastic handle. It takes awhile to get the adhesive off before you can use it- lots of peanut butter and rubbing. Doesn't effect the use of the item- it's just annoying.

This is just what I wanted for spreading frosting on a birthday cake, as if it is oil painting on a canvas. Nice quality at a reasonable price and I like that it is not a wooded handle. I would like more in different blade shapes.

It’s much more flexible than I anticipated. I was hoping it would be a bit stiffer.

I purchased these for myself however when my granddaughter came to help decorate her grandpa birthday cake I simply stepped back and watched her work. Amazing to see this 10 year old child make a work of art. So she got the tools and I ordered more. Everyone should have several

Flexible and functional, does the job. It’s not fancy or extraordinary in any way but good for home use.

Great tapered offset spatula. Easy to use especially when you want to spread icing glaze on cookies. Just what I was looking for.

This spatula works great for crumb coating cakes, and it's not flimsy at all. FYI: I did expect it to be bigger considering the dimensions but it is quite small. So make sure you check the dimensions before buying this (21.6cm is the length including the handle);

The spatula is good, the way i expected it and it arrived fast.
