Any oil splatter when oil drains into this funnel?

Hot oil, or thin ATF can and will splatter if falling more than a few inches, especially if it hits the big smooth surfaces in the corners.

Does the opening at bottom of the funnel fit into 3" waste water tote? What is the size of the opening?

Short answer, no. It is designed to fit the funnel of an oil drain service cart. Actual opening is 6".

How easy is it to clean?

Very easy I just use brake clean
