AeroPilates Stamina Products Posture Corrector Pilates Barrel with Upholstered Surface and Built In Handle for Strength Training, Wood and Black

I was concerned this would not have support spines running on the underside of this barrel, but was relieved to see it was well reinforced. I included a photo of the underside, which was what I wanted to see before I made my purchase, but wasn't available. It is made in China and I am happy with the quality and sturdiness of it. The only thing I found odd and of lower quality is the two side handles, they are plastic. I will probably replace them with metal ones just for peace of mind. The padding on the barrel is the perfect amount, the sides are real wood and screws that are visible look to be of good quality. I have already used this alone and with my reformer many times and it has been wonderful. No creaks or scary noises come from it as you go through your movements. My husband (210lb) plopped down on it and almost gave me a heart attack, I thought he would crack it in two, but it was fine. That being said, I wouldn't recommend plopping down on it. This is a great purchase, I love it, my abs not so much. 🤣

This barrel is perfect for relaxing your back. I had to drive five consecutive days for seven or eight hours per day recently. My back would not have survived the trip had I not used this barrel. Simply by lying on it for a few quick minutes made all the difference. I have a serious case of a turtle neck, too. After using this barrel for a month and a half, I can really feel my posture had improved and my neck and back hurts way more less! I would strongly recommend this for any of those who has to sit long hours...

The unit is quite sturdy and comfortable to use. It’s also light and easy to Move in our work out area. My wife uses it mostly and stays its as good as the unit she uses in Pilates class

This is a great barrel, I have scolioscis and chronic back pain...you have to pace yourself (the dvd is very good, but I choose wich exercise to do, the level is advanced for some of them), also works your oblicual very nice!!! The reason I give this product 4 stars it is because the leather imitation broke on the sides and I am only 105 pounds!! I contacted the seller and did not wanted to exchange it...oh well, the spine corrector barrel delivers anyway.

I am a Certified Classical Pilates Teacher. I ordered this spine corrector for myself to see and feel the quality before equipping my new studio with them. I am so happy with my purchase! The price is great and it looks beautiful!! The foam is comfortable and it seems pretty sturdy so far. I'm about 5'5'' and it's a great size for me! However my boyfriend is almost 6' and it is a little tiny for him. I have purchased 3 more and will see how they hold up!

Love this. Since lockdown began and I can't go to pilates this barrel helps me to barrel classes online. It's incredibly well made, very sturdy and perfect. Great buy.

I am a professional Pilates instructor and I use this in my studio. I bought on 2 years ago and liked it so much I just bought another. Holds up well over time with frequent use. Very good value!

I bought this used, and it stated it was in very good condition, maybe a few scratches or rubs. At first I was pleasantly surprised because the exterior looked like it was in great shape. Then when I started to use it I realized there was a crack at the top of the barrel. I'm only 5'3, 118lbs so it has nothing to do with my size. I think it was likely there already. My husband and I patched the crack and I think it will hold up given my size but can't trust it to use with my Pilates clients.

So far so good. The width is a bit less than the Merithew spine corrector. However, it serves the purpose it's designed for. I do recommend. :)

I Bought my wife this in Feb,19 as a gift to celebrate her mid-terms in her pilates course. She had wanted it for a while and had been asking me if I could get it for her, as she didn't have money for it (she still doesn't get the my money is actually our money thing). Anyway, I questioned the quality and told her to look around more. She was convinced and showed me the reviews she could find at the time. Turned out I was right, she has only used it 5 or 6 times and she believes there is something very wrong with it. That it is defective. As it feels off from the ones she was using at pilates school. First time I've ever had an Amazon order turn out to be a dud, unfortunate.
