I decided to try the L’Oréal Paris Dream Lengths Heat Slayer because I regularly use heat tools and wanted something affordable that would protect my hair without making it feel heavy. 👍 What I liked the most: • Provides heat protection up to high temperatures (great for flat irons and blow dryers)  • Helps reduce frizz and leaves hair looking smoother and shinier • Lightweight formula that doesn’t make hair greasy or sticky • Smells really nice, with a soft sweet/fruity scent 👎 What could be better: • May not be strong enough for very thick or extremely frizzy hair • The scent might be a bit noticeable for people who prefer fragrance-free products 📌 Conclusion: Overall, this is a great budget-friendly heat protectant that does the job well. It keeps hair soft, manageable, and protected during styling. I would definitely recommend it for everyday use.

I’m really happy I decided to try this Heat Slayer spray. After my hair’s been washed and damp, I mist it on before blow-drying or ironing, and it does a beautiful job of protecting against heat damage (the label says it protects up to 450 °F). I like how my hair comes out noticeably softer, smoother, and shinier with much less frizz. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy (as long as I don’t over-apply), and it even makes combing through damp hair easier. The light, pleasant scent is a nice bonus. And it really seems to help preserve the health of hair that gets frequently styled with heat. I have fewer rough ends and smoother overall texture after repeated use. Bottom line: this is a simple, affordable spray that keeps my hair protected, smooth, and shiny even when I style with heat tools. I’d recommend it to anyone who regularly blow-dries or straightens their hair and wants to preserve softness and shine.

Okay, the product itself is great. It smells great. Works great. I love it. But do NOT, I repeat do NOT spray this anywhere near a hardwood floor. My fiance took a big tumble from a “slippery” spot on the floor. I still haven’t told him it’s because I sprayed this stuff in my hair in that exact spot. Maybe a good product to have for enemies, but not for lovers 😂🙈 my hair is SO soft tho, so will continue use 😂

I give this L'Oréal Elvive heat protectant 4 stars. It's a very good product, and I always use it before blow-drying my hair, which is the only way I use it. I feel like it does its job. It smells really good. My hair feels noticeably softer after drying, which is a huge plus. If you're looking for protection from the heat of a hairdryer, I feel like this product works and would recommend it to others. The only thing that takes a star off is the feel. The product is a bit greasy (or heavy) if you apply too much. You have to be careful with the amount, especially if you have fine hair or tend to get oily easily, as it can weigh it down a bit. Conclusion: A good product overall with an incredible scent that really softens. It's a good buy as long as you use a small amount.

It does make your hair soft, and smells good. I didn’t like the creamy texture of it, and it stays on your hair.

Did it leave my hair soft? Yes. Did it protect my hair from heat damage? Yeah it did a decent job. However I can’t get over the scent of this product so I’ll be throwing it away. I’ve just it once and the scent is overpowering. It leaves your hair smelling like you’ve just been clubbing. It doesn’t smell floral. Instead smells like a combination of Chanel perfume and cigarettes. If I was young and in my partying days, I wouldn’t mind this scent, but now at this stage of life, I want a nice refreshing or calming scent that reminds me of a luxurious spa day.

I use my flat iron almost every day, so I bought this one and honestly, the smell is amazing and lasts all day! The effect has been great too; my hair hasn’t gotten damaged at all. You just have to be careful not to spray too much or get it on your scalp, only on the lengths, otherwise, your hair might get oily faster. I usually spray a little on a small section, brush it through to spread it evenly, wait a few seconds for it to dry, and then straighten. After that, I also rub a bit of hair oil between my hands and run it through my hair to make sure it’s absorbed well and keeps my hair hydrated. Been using it for about ten days now and I’m really happy with it!
