Includes a nice air compressor to reinflate a tire, but I don’t see a tire plug kit or other tire repair items? Am I missing something here?

is the bag waterproof?

I cannot tell you that it is waterproof because I have not had it in the rain. I can tell you that it is well made and is coated. I think it is coated in vinyl. It is at least very water resistant.

Is a flashlight included? I cannot seem to find it in the description

The kit is for my son’s new car so we did not open. However on the wrapping that lists the components it lists a hand crank flashlight. These are designed for sort term use in emergency situations. In addition, especially if you make longer trips, you should keep a larger (black metal) flashlight that used C or D cells.
