TEMCo Hydraulic Container/Machine Toe Jack (5-10 Ton) Lift Capacity TH0023

The toe jack operates extremely smoothly and has great manors while lowering the load. Its very easy to control the speed of descent of the load. That is very important to safe load handling. The build quality is really good.

I used (and will continue to use on an as-needed basis) this toe jack to lift and aid in the relocation of a metal turning lathe. It works very well, and feels reassuringly sturdy as it supports the weight. I mean, I still wouldn't stick my fingers underneath whatever I am lifting, but you do you. The swiveling pump handle receptacle is a VERY nice feature, as heavy objects of this sort are often placed against/near walls, other machinery, etc..., and having the option to orient the handle into an area where there is space for it to be swung/cycled is absolutely appreciated. As with most (all?) bottle-type jacks, the release can be touchy when lowering a load, but this jack does provide as sensitive of a release as I have experienced. With some patience, a fairly finite level of control can be achieved when setting down whatever heavy object you've managed to lift. Great solution for "just how the heck am I supposed to lift THAT??" situations, especially if used in conjunction with other lifting devices (use this jack to create enough clearance underneath the object to get another jack/lifting strap/whatever underneath it).

I have a 10 x16 shed with a 2nd floor loft. Fully loaded with all our stuff. The one front corner settled a bit causing the doors to be unlevel. This jack was perfect. Lifted the corner high enough to put some more rock under that corner and now the shed is level again. Highly recommend. I contemplated buying cheaper options off a bidding site but after talking to people and reviews found those to be not good quality. Temco has a great reputation and a 5 year warranty. Unit is solid and built like a tank. It comes packaged extremely well.

This thing is really beefy and seems very well built for the money. My intention is to use it to help move a Bridgeport milling machine. Each crank of the handle moves the ram upward by a very small amount (maybe 1/16th inch?), which to me means lots of mechanical advantage. I won't have any trouble raising the mill.

Very well made. I bought because I trust TeMco tools. Though I returned this item before I used it. Because what I had planned to use it for we ended up moving with my neighbors bobcat, a Burke Bar and a few scrap 2x4s. I’d buy again if the need ever comes up.

Had to move a couple small CNC mills. One was 7000lbs the other around 5000. Using the toe it worked like a champ. The pump was a little stiff, but it was brand new and I am assuming that means the seals are a bit tighter. Hopefully it works every time I need it to. But so far I am happy. Great value for the money.

I used the 5 ton (at the toe) version of this jack to repeatedly lift a 2300 lb band saw for installation of anti-vibration/leveling pads. It was effortless and safe. The jack hardly noticed the weight. I wish I'd bought one of these years ago.

Good jack. It's expensive but it's well built. I been putting it through hell and it's held up no problem. Updated after a few years of use: I have lifted 10-14000lb transformers with it one side at a time to put on skates and it’s help up last few years.

Jack is good but lost horseshoe clip on handle waited half hour calling temco and no answer having trouble finding replacement horseshoe clip for lever !!!!!
