For those of us who don't really understand the history of the present day conflict this is an essential read.

Excellent

An excellent history of this conflict. Well written and unbiased.I simply cannot understand the two one star reviews on here, both of which sound rather cross as this book appears not be telling them what they want to hear.Ignore them. Read all the reviews for the previous edition of this book.
