Great starter kit , build quality is good and easy to use

The sum of these individual pieces at the local Big R store was about $25 more than this kit and the same quality. I think the kit was a great deal.

Enjoyed it all while the bees where being kept and moved

I read through a lot of the reviews on this kit before purchasing. Here are my first thoughts without actually using the product yet (I'll update in a few months once I've had some experience with the tools) Also I'm assuming most people looking at this kit are beginners and on a budget. The main concerns: 1. Brush falls apart easily - It appears they either fixed this issue or it might have been a poorly assembled unit. Remember your brush needs to be very fine and forgiving so you don't injure the bees. 2. Smoker bellows material tears easily - Again this may have been fixed I'll know more with use, but my bellows seem to be made with a decent leather, could possibly be slightly thicker, but seems good as long as you're careful with it. 3. Frame grabber/holder: I left this for last since it's a minor annoyance and easily fixed. It appears that the assembly workers are still putting the grabber together back to front. Just remove the 2 'springs' they are basically just bent wire. flip the mechanism 180 degrees and reinstall the springs with a pliers, now your grabber will work. Overall I like this kit. I bought it because it had all the tools and then the little extras and looking at the individual products on Amazon I'd say you are probably getting the exact same quality that's put togetheri inside this kit. (Queen cage, harvesting tools - which you won't need for a while if just starting out and you may never use the queen tools.

I liked being able to get all the basic tools, decently made, for a decent price. Good bang for the buck.

We bought these for our Grandson, who just started raising Bees this year! We have the same tools and are very well used each time we check the Bees, etc… very well made! Good quality! Great price! I would highly recommend them to anyone raising Bees!

This is a great value for the price. The frame lifter was assembled backwards as other reviewers reported, but you can remove the wire springs, twist the handles around and reseat the springs. Easy fix!

Pleasantly surprised with the sturdiness of these tools! Robust, not flimsy. All the key items needed for a new beekeeper.
