Red Ryder Daisy A Christmas Wish BB Gun, Wood

Got for grandson last Christmas. He loves it. Uses it with boy scouts and practices against hay barrel with targets in back yard. Easy to use. Does seem to skip a shot now and then and shoot a blank. Seems durable and otherwise functions fine. Not sure why it shoots blanks at times when fully loaded.

My Wife is a big fan of A Christmas Story. Made such a big surprise for her on Christmas morning. She LOVES it and hasn't yet shot her eye out.

Bought for my 7 & 9 year olds for Christmas gifts and they loved them. The wood and metal are both a nice quality material. The gun itself was built to last. We’ve had ours 8+ months now and haven’t had any issues. No bullets are included but we just ordered a set to go with it. My 7 year old can load cock and shoot it by him self. So it’s easy to use, durable and quality material. They practice target shooting and keep hawks away from our chickens.

Item was shipped fast and arrived undamaged. I was concerned at first because the only thing the seller did when he shipped it was wrap the box it comes in, in brown shipping paper. But all is well. As far as the gun itself. It's as close to Ralphies gun as you can buy. Not exactly like the one in the movie but close enough. As far as a bb gun. It's basically a kids gun. Not too much power, easy to shoot. Fun as heck. It will penetrate a soda can at 15 yards and shoots a pretty tight group at 15 yards and closer. I wish the sights were adjustable for windage but with a little kentucky windage, I can but the target good enough. I originally bought this as a collector item but seeing as this was originally sold at Walmart, I just figured I would have some fun shooting it and take it out at Christmas when I watch the movie.

I bought my Christmas wish- red ryder bb rifle from fanci indications. The rifle was the exact model shown, with the compass- sundial and brass Barrell band. The rifle arrived in 2 days, well packaged and undamaged. This is for my 9 year old grandson, for Christmas. And has not been used or fired yet. But I have over 100 airguns, both rifle and pistol. BB - pellet ( .177+.22 cal.) And 6mm airsoft. And this gun for the price is really nice get this one while you can. The Christmas wish red ryder was released this year (2020) and is the one used in the Christmas Story movie. And as the rifle used in the movie never really excited, all others are just a 1938 red ryder. But this model was released by daisy this year because everyone was looking for the red ryder with the compass-in the stock and a thing that tells time. So this really is the holy grail of daisy red ryder a. And who knows how many will be made and sold. This is truly a collector air rifle. If you compare the pictures of this rifle to the daisy 1938 red ryder you will see the differences. Good company to do business with. Buy this while you can and avoid regret, if daisy decideds to make this a limited release air rifle. There is another seller here at amazon selling the plain 1938 red ryder- but picturing this model and they are asking $70+ for the $40 red ryder. Look at the asin# when you research this rifle

Great BB Gun. Looks just like the one from the movie and I haven't shot my out yet. Feels like pretty good quality and shoots pretty straight and has already notched a rabbit and a bird.
