We tried them a inside since there's snow outside and didn't want to risk them getting wet and two of them broke around the ring but a piece of tape helps , the other hit the wall and the top dome part flew off and the batteries popped out. We were able to fix it but letting them fly again inside risked it hitting the wall and batteries falling out.
