We hung it outside their window and poured some bird seed inside. Woke up the next morning to it on the ground and broken. Not sure if it was too much bird seed or if a bird knocked it loose, but I'm thinking next time we'll add some double sided tape to ensure it doesn't happen again. It may to the peak of the "roof" but the part that birds can get in is probably less than 2 inches.This feeder has been up for 2 weeks. I saw one bird sit on it and then leave for the other feeders. Otherwise they just ignore it completely.Save your money and buy a feeder that is more attractive for birds to sit in or on.
