1) great, organised kit that even included a tape measure - literally everything you need to do the job from scratch is included 2) instructions are clear and the task is simple. I opted for the suction to window glass option and I cut the material slightly larger to avoid light let in and very happy with the result 3) we got these for our babies daytime naps whilst she is still in her next2me with us rather than installing blinds as it's temporary and she will move to her room/crib in a few months. I have attached a photo of the difference in sunlight between the bedrooms. It really made a difference in broad daylight and definitely helps with her naps - almost too well, we both sleep in extremely well now in the mornings for a bit too long! 4) if I were to really try to scrutinize I would say the velcro is EXTREMELY strong so just undo it carefully when you "open" them for daylight, and the grid markings to cut in a straight line are very faint. I have 20/20 vision and cut it on broad daylight and my straight lines are definitely something to be desired! Also, yes, I can imagine it bothers some people that design has the screw in the middle but tbh not me because the strength of the velcro is so strong anyway. Absolutely great quality product for the price and completely delivers on the results I was after.

Amazing product. Been looking at something to help with blackout for ages, but always too expensive and up until now been blinds of some description. Especially is useful on those particularly sunny days after night shifts. This is really simple and very effective. Took 10 mins to install. The cutter isn’t very great. It kept snagging. Should have just used scissors and I thought it was meant to come with lines to help with cutting, they are so discrete / too hidden didn’t notice them. Would have been more visible on the silver side. But 2 very small things. Easy to put up and take down and pretty much completely blacks out the room now. Well chuffed and good value for money. Will really help with sleeping on shifts.

I liked the thickness of the fabric. It felt a quality product. I was impressed that it came with a fabric cutter, white pen and measuring tape. I can tell they've put a lot of effort and thought into making sure you've got all the equipment you need to do the job. The black out fabric has light grey squares on it to make the cutting easier. I tried the cutter but felt more at ease with using fabric scissors. The instructions were good. I used the hook and loop method. The stickers which are put on the window frame are white which is good as it matches my frame colour and camouflaged when I take the fabric off. The black stickers (which connect to the white ones) go onto the fabric. To make it easier, I pressed the black stickers onto the white ones so that the sticky side was facing the room, then stretched the fabric into position over the frame and pushed against the black stickers. That way, I knew the black and white stickers would line up exactly. When I needed to take off the black sticker from the fabric and reposition it, it was fine to peel off even though it was quite sticky. Only thing is, there wasn't guidance on how to deal with the window handles. I cut around it and botched that a bit and now there's a bit of light coming through those bits but it's totally minimal and not a problem. Just looked a bit messy thats all. It's very black when I close the door and switch off the light which is what I wanted. Naturally, in hot weather you'll want to open a window at night and then some light comes in so the product is obviously only going to block it all out when you keep the windows closed. But still, it blocks out more than if you had only black out curtains alone. I can take off the fabric during the day to let daylight back in and put back on the windows only at night if I want to. Overall, I'm happy with the product.

Great product. Excellent to block out light. Its so effective I have to be careful of my environment.

So far so good easy install. Not wxpecting miracles but hopefully a few degrees cooler in my office Blackout effect is superb (great for sleeping?!)

too long, didn't read: I loved that the kit came with a marker that rubs off easily, a tape measure(flimsy to be fair, but it does the job) and a cutting tool(more on this) my praises first the material is light but feels somewhat sturdy, time will tell, it has 2 sides, the outside silver/white side, and the black side, which comes with a nice square pattern printed in a dark, but still visible grey to help you cut in a straight line, unless you're a putz like me, then ask someone who isn't equipped with 2 left feet for hands it comes with plenty of self adhesive velcro tabs that stick pretty tightly to PVC frames when used right(25 smaller white tabs for the window approx 3cm diameter) and 32 black tabs for the fabric(approx 4cm diameter the tape measure as above is kinda flimsy, but is a very good inclusion, measures 1.5m and has inches on the other side for those who prefer the white marker is lovely to mark on the black side for your cuts, it's clear and rubs off easily when you want to erase a mistake or just to remove the white marks when done the suction cuts are pretty alright, but there size can limit their use case by case, as they are about 5cm diameter, so if you don't have much frame to work with on your windows, the velcro tabs are your best bet now on to my whinging the cutting tool is my only real gripe, i while I appreciate that it was included, unfortunately it gets blunt very fast, so if you have a decent pair of scissors at hand, or some other very sharp blade, use that instead, saves you the frustration of not being able to cut anything after 2-3 passes All in all, this is a very handy kit in case regular black out curtains aren't an option a little word of warning: on the packaging it says "Brand-new fabric may have a little smell of ink" while I understand it's i their best interest not to broadcast this, but the fabric had a deadly funk about it fresh out of the packaging, smelling like rubber and compost bin in summer, thankfully it passed quickly

Absolutely fantastic! Provided excellent black out with a blind in front of it. No instructions for how to manage window handles so there's a little light seeping through and you can't open the windows at night. But they cut well, the velcro is very strong and has held up to taking the blinds up and down. Managed to get two double windows out of it, and was 10cm off getting a third
