I have struggled with getting my BIG feet through the ankles and gaiters of waders for years. I am absolutely blown away at the ease of putting these waders on. This is also the first time that waders are tall enough . they come up to my arm pits!!! They came an hour ago ,so , have not been in the water yet. I beat the hell out of my waders, ice, boulders hiking streams and they have held up well. Pair of sweat pants underneath and I stay dry and warm even when in Ice covered mountain streams. the only issue I have with them is they need more room in the chest area to wear a full size jacket (this why 4 stars instead of 5). have to wear a thermal top and light sweater and just purchased a wading jacket to wear on outside to break the wind.
