I purchased and returned two other flat irons before settling on this Salon Tech flat iron. The other two were over $150 but as soon as I used them they caught pieces of my hair and pulled them out! My old flat iron was a Salon Tech and I had it for years so I bit the bullet and got the Salon Tech 450 Professional. I let my hair dry naturally so it would be curly and slightly frizzy. The Salon Tech smoothed and straightened my hair on the first pass through with no catching or pulling. Totally worth the investment! I love it so much!!!!

Buys BE AWARE!!! Product is defective and smell like electrical fire once turned on. It is highly DANGEROUS and is Fire and Breathing HAZARD! I tried to contact seller without response for any refund or replacement. Even though it is within warranty period, seller is not honoring it. Amazon can’t enforce and honor the warranty either, unfortunately. It is sad dishonest sellers like this exist.

If the smart sound can be turned off, the sound without di.di.di would be perfect
