Great for Making Sourdough Bread!
I bought the Broil King Cast Iron Rib Roaster specifically for making sourdough bread. Boy, does it work really well! I lined it with parchment paper, so there was no clean up, per say. As you can see, the loaf came out perfectly! It's a really good alternative to those pricey, enameled, "great chef's prefer!" loaf pans. The only downside that I can think of is, there isn't a great lip or handle for removing the lid during the last 10 minutes of bake time, when it's screaming hot. You just have to be careful and make sure you have a good grip on the little bit of lip on the ends, and are close to where you want to drop the lid. Also, It's cast iron so, IT'S HEAVY. All in all, a very good product for its unintended use! I've already recommended it to my baking friends!

Also was soll ich sagen: Alle billigen Produkte sind nicht anatzweise so gut. Gegenüber anderen Guss-Kastenformen hat der Rib-Roaster den Vorteil, dass der Rost direkt dabei ist. Das Teilchen schliesst perfekt ab und lässt nichts ungewollt entweichen. Wir haben neben Rippchen noch folgendes erfolgreich in der Form gegrillt und gebacken: - Rippchen/French Racks - Schichtfleich (Rindernacken) - Rouladen - T-Bone (Gar gezogen= - Brot - Hähnchen Drum Sticks Optimal ist natürlich man hat einen Grill, das gute Stück ist aber auch perfekt im Ofen. Wer noch keine Gussform hat: Schlagt zu. Ein super produkt und eine perfekte Hitzeverteilung.

Nicht gerade billig & leicht, aber groß für 6 Racks. Ergebnis war super. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
