Good buy
Since birth my son never got in a habit of sitting in car seat, perhaps because of covid we didn’t travel much and he is Nov2019 born. This chair is comfy and allows him the height to see outside he does love it. I was concerned I will end up wasting another 1000+ on a car seat wudnt like. Comfortable and seems to be very secure and safe.

Update: 07/31/25 Update My grandson (now 8.5y) has been in this car seat for a little over a year; it’t been in booster (seatbelt) mode for about 6 months. He is now 48 inches tall, and weighs 45 lbs. For those of you with special needs kiddos, know that he would still fit comfortably in the harness of this seat, if needed, with another notch in the headrest available, if we needed additional time in the harness. I still really, really like this seat, but there is one thing I don’t like. The zippers on the seat pad of this seat split constantly. And I don’t mean they come unzipped; I mean they actually split in the middle from him getting in and out of the seat, and kicking his legs back and forth while in it. Had I known this, I would have saved some money and bought the cheaper one. Still, he has at least another year in this seat in booster mode, so I am still a fan of this seat. Highly recommend! ******************************************************************************************************************** 5/10/2024 (original post): First, let me say that this seat is for older, bigger children. It cannot rear-face, and while the minimum weight is listed at 25lb, for safety reasons, children of that weight should remain in a rear-facing seat until they outgrow it. I ordered this seat for a few reasons. One reason was that I needed a seat with a higher harness limit than most standard seats. The harness on the My Fit goes to 19.5 inches from the seat; 1.5 inches higher than our Graco 4Ever DLX. My grandson is 7.5yo and is ASD level 2; he is wiggly and impulsive, and definitely not ready for booster training yet (we’ve tried). For reference, he is 46 inches tall and weighs 42lb. According to my research, each inch of seat height is roughly equal to one year of growth. He has a couple of inches of growth room in the My Fit harness, and hopefully will be more ready for a booster in the next year or so. I have done much reading over the past month, and I am impressed with the safety ratings of this seat. I also like the thick, comfortable padding. My son and DIL have had the base model of the My Fit in their car for the past two years (the cover does not zip off), and they really like their seat. I chose the My Fit Zip model with the zip-off lining, and I would urge anybody who has a child not fully potty trained, or one that drinks in the car seat, to upgrade to the My Fit Zip. It is worth the extra money to be able to unzip the pads and toss them in the wash without taking the whole seat out of the car to remove the cover. I installed the seat using the vehicle seat belt, because my grandson weighs more than 40lb. I have a 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. This seat is a bit bulkier than our Graco 4Ever DLX, and weighs a couple of pounds more, but it fit well in my vehicle and it was as easy to install with the seat belt as our Graco was. The width of the seat is listed as 17 or 17.5 inches on several review sites, but the width of the seat where it meets the vehicle seat back is roughly 11.5-12 inches, so it will fit in smaller cars. I am extremely happy with the quality and heavy-duty construction of this seat; it is well worth the money we paid!

Chicco is the best, installation and adjustment is always super easy and the quality is I quite top notch. We have a Keyfit infant carrier seat, a convertible Nextfit, two Gofit backless boosters and this Myfit. We've had several other brands and also keep going back to Chicco. My 6 year old has been in this seat since he was 4 and aside from a little dirt it looks new. It is comfortable, durable and it looks nice in my car. I don't dread reinstalling any of my Chicco car seats like I did my evenflo or diono seats.

I have 5 kids that were once ages 5 and under. Car seats are a total joke to deal with in our situation and it took a long time to figure it all out. We've gone from Chicco KeyFits up to nextfits (way too bulky, but good!) and now have turned to these Myfits. My oldest has had hers for 3 years and at a very petite age 6.5, she has a few more years of fitting in the harness. They are slim, easy to fit 3 across in our Ford Expedition and my kids love them. With the high back, I get many years out of them before they are outgrown and especially since they move from 5 point harness to a high back booster. They are easier to get a proper install than anything I've found. Oh, bonus, the cup holders are removable and dishwasher safe! Mom-tip: GET THE ZIP. If you are able to, cost wise. Our first one wasn't and holy moly, what a PITA to clean. As for the install situation of 3 in a row, we currently have 2 myfits in the backseat with a Clek fllo in between them. Three Myfits will fit across the backseat and they all have their own arm rests. Overall, a win-win with these seats. One thing I will comment on, my kids do say they are comfortable but they've remarked that the chest padding and strap padding can be itchy.

Es robusta y fácil de instalar. También se puede reclinar, lo cuál es excelente para viajes. Lo único malo es que es pesada, pero si no la vas a estar cambiando de coche, la recomiendo muchísimo!!
