Does this model support 4G backup

Hello Bernard, As we already confirmed, the Meraki Go GX20 5 Port Security Firewall does not support a 4G WAN backup connection. It has only one 1GE WAN port. Thanks

I was thinking of putting a 4g dongle into the usb port for 4g failover. i understand it's not supported. what's the usb port for?

USB Port Only has a 5V Power output. With it being a Mid-tier small business machine I think they intend for it to power a low power USB device such as a phone charger. You may be able to have failover support using a Male RJ45 to Female USB A and plug your 4G dongle into that providing the PoE works to power the dongle.
