We live in a small apartment, and even with the pail at 75% capacity, there is zero "old diaper" smell thanks to the lavender scent and thick plastic. Compatibility Warning: Before buying, make sure you have the right pail! These fit my Munchkin Step perfectly and are also compatible with Diaper Genie units. However, they will not work with the older snap-bag models. They snap into place securely and don't slip down when the bag gets heavy. Diaper Count: I get about 250+ diapers per ring. If you want a nursery that doesn't smell like a nursery, these are the only refills I recommend.
