If you follow the hair type system I would have 4b/4c hair or cottony coils and kinks. It was the first time using the product and I have never heard much reviews about it. I used it with Aphogee ProVitamin Leave in, Creme of Nature Miracle 7 Leave in and Wet n wavy mousse to prep my hair for straightening. it appeared white on my hair which I was a bit worried about. I let my hair air dry by mistake and it disappeared but there was a dullness to my hair before blowdrying. I blow dried my hair on med/low heat with cool shot after only to see that dullness disappear and by hair was fully stretched in 10 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised by that. When I straightened I used a small boar bristle brush with the flat iron on 400 degrees in order for it to be straight as I wanted it and it came out straight with one pass and I have had my hair straightened for the past week and a half and just last night I did a pre poo and my hair came back in all its kinkiness. NO DAMAGE. I used it on my little sisters hair few days to see if it worked well for kids and it came out really well. All I used for her was coconut oil and the spray, comb it through, let it air dry a bit and then blow dry it out and her hair was nicely stretched.
