It is a rewrite of an earlier guide to the A 6000. It was so hurriedly done that not all the references have changed, the book's title in the heading of each page is incorrect ("ANY East Guide for Beginners," rather than "AN Easy Guide..."), and typos and omitted words litter the text. There is even some misinformation (e.g., Capture One does not "convert data to RAW format," but converts RAW from RAW.) At the end of the read, you will know little more about your camera than you found in the guide that comes with it. A far better reference is the full review given on dpreview.com. ### ⭐ Not a guide, and not for beginners. *by R***D on April 7, 2016* This very thin volume has the look and feel of something produced on a typewriter in a hurry. It's a bit fewer than 40 small pages, depending on how one counts. The text has all the style on tone-of-voice of a standard instruction manual, minus the usual wit and charm. ### ⭐ Save your money for a real book *by L***Y on April 30, 2016* As the other reviewers have said, this is a poor excuse for a book. In fact, the only nice thing about this book is the cover. Inside there is very little of substance. Rather than a "guide" this pamphlet lists a very few of the features that the camera offers, with a short paragraph for each. The Sony sales page has more information. The little bit of printing is very faint as though copied on a poor copier that was running out of ink.
