Sturdy
My grandson loves his new bike. A little difficult to put together if inexperienced but once together it is a nice sturdy bike.

Good value
Works well out of the box (after assembly), the low gear might not be low enough for steep hills. Shifts well. Tires are OK for pavement, I replaced them with grippier ones.

Really excellent bike for the money.
My son loves this bike. It is actually very light in weight and easy to pedal. It is well constructed and defies the typical Chinese manufacture cheapness. For the money, I think you will have a difficult time finding a better bike!

Hard parts seem OK. Sub assembly was horrible.
Parts seem fair quality. Frame seems solid and straight. Every bearing on it is over tightened, particularly the crank, which probably has dented bearings and/or races. The lock ring on the crank is on so tight it is concave and I’ve been unable to budge it so far. One of the slots on the bottom of the fork that’s receives the front axle was smashed in. The cap on the left crank is missing. Assembly wasn’t difficult. In fact I would be happier if the bike had been shipped completely unassembled I could have adjusted the bearings myself. Overall lesson learned is that I wish I’d done a close assessment of this before I had committed 1 1/2 hours to unpacking and assembly. It would have gone back had I done that. And finally, unless mountain biking is supposed to be all down hill, which it may be for all I know, the gearing is very high. It’s like the gearing on my 18 speed with the chain on the largest front sprocket and shifting through the six on the cassette. I’m be looking to install a smaller front sprocket on it.

Perfect!
Bought this for my 9-year-old son for Christmas. Not too heavy, has plenty of gears (a big deal for him), and the bike will be able to grow with him for a couple years. Price was perfect. Very happy with this purchase.

Good, solid bike
Although the instructions were not for this model, we were able to figure it out. The most difficult part was getting the brakes to align properly. There really should be better instructions included. Our daughter loves it and it was the perfect Christmas gift. She is learning how to use hand brakes and to shift gears. Perfect size for her to grow into. She is 8 years old.
