Arrived quickly and is working well. Quiet running pump with good GPM rate.

This pump has lasted 2 years so far. It has a lot of power. Installation was easy.

I purchased this pump to replace the 1 HP pump for my above ground pool when the motor locked up. I've used the pump for two seasons and had zero problems with it. It moves noticeably more water than my old pump (guessing impeller on old pump was worn), and could have likely gotten by with the 3/4 HP pump. Regardless, it's been a great pump and I would purchase it again.

So far so good. It is quiet and it is very powerful. We have a 24 ft round and it circulates the water really well. It doesn’t have an on off switch but the same one with one was like $40 higher. We got a smart switch so I can control it with my phone and Alexa it’s perfect

This pump works very well and seems to run a bit quieter than my previous pump. It was easy to hook up the hoses. Because there is no on/off switch on the unit, it has to be unplugged/plugged in. One issue we found in emptying the debris basket: we closed the filter valve and had to remove the hose coming in from the skimmer, because the sealing ring on the basket cap would be forced out and not seal. That is the only issue we have had.

When my name brand pump of almost identical design became very noisy, I went back to the local store where I bought it to try and get some help. They refused and claimed it had been left outside during the winter, which wasn't the case. I decided it was time to look for less expensive options for a pump. After reading reviews of several options, I decided to give the Doheny's 1 HP pump a try. So far, I'm very pleased. It is the quietest pump I've ever used, and that includes Intex, Pentair, and Hayward pumps. It's barely audible from a couple of feet away. The other thing I'm impressed with is that the gap between the pump housing and motor is covered, which helps prevent splashed water from getting onto the drive shaft and into the bearings. My $300+ Pentair pump didn't have this feature. It's very sturdy and well built. At less than half the price of major brands with the same performance, it's hard to go wrong. Highly recommended!

Works great! I bought this to replace a 3/4 HP pump that broke. Not a direct replacement for the other pump but it was easy to install and get up and running. Much better flow now.

This is our second one and it is so much better than the first one. It’s very quiet!!
