Works great and replaces Harmony 700 I have had for years!

Several buttons on my old remote (same model) stopped working. Logitech no longer makes these universal remotes. I ordered a used replacement, logged in, downloaded the settings (wised for the old remote), and it works like a champ with all of my devices. Used device cost much less than a new replacement—and I’m not sure where new ones are coming from anyway since they aren’t being manufactured by Logitech anymore. The remote is nice because it can create activities (to start and configure multiple components with a single button—like watching TV/cable by turning on the TV and stereo receiver, setting the correct TV and stereo inputs and configuring the remote to work both devices with the rest of the remote buttons. Same for watching DVD/BluRay discs, listening to CDS OR USB (MP3’s), etc…. Sad to see Logitech no longer making them (or newer models).

I had the exact same remote for about 8 years. Worked great, which is why we purchased another. I understand there are problems with refurbished products but this one lasted less than a week before the screen went completely blank. This remote is useless without the screen. Contacted Amazon in hopes of an even exchange, no help there. Awaiting a response from the business I purchased this from. If they're able to do a swap, I'll update the review.

Doing a major upgrade in my home theater and I decided that my very old Harmony 6 series was due for replacement (a couple of buttons had stopped working). LOVE how the software and web service automatically uploads my existing programming into the new remote. Have always loved how easy it is to assign new devices and tasks to the remote via the software.My only complaint is that this remote arrived with a cracked screen, and the main Enter button sometimes takes a couple of presses before it registers (or maybe even press it slightly sideways).

I'm replacing an older model, with this. The set up for this model was a little difficult for me, as I could not get the software to work with my newer PC newer version of windows. After I used an older PC with older windows version and worked out the issue, was able to program the remote easily.I wish I could remember the "trick" to get the software to work, the problem was when trying to complete the set up it would lock up. I found that if I log in manually (maybe click my account) in my Harmony, I was able to continue and complete the set up.Great remote, after My harmony log in, the set up is very easy. Unfortunately the software does not appear to be updated for latest / greatest windows and internet browser version.Highly recommended. Disagree with some other reviews, the software is available, and you can get it to work. It may take a couple attempts.

I realize that this is "Refurbished," but by no means is it "Excellent," especially for $144.95. There are a lot of wear marks on the buttons, so it definitly looks "Used." So far, functionally, it is working.

I was nervous buying this remote from this buyer because the remote is no longer manufactured by Logitech. But even though the remote didn't come in the original packaging, the remote was in pristine condition, properly wrapped and works flawlessly. They even included an extra long USB cable that works with the remote so that I could set up the remote through the MyLogitech web app. I was very happy with this purchase especially since buying one off of another site would've costed me 2 to 3 times as much. As for the remote itself, it has excellent range for what I need, it feels to be well-made and the buttons operate properly. I am sure the battery life will be normal. Very happy with this purchase.

I've been a fan of the Logitech 665 remotes for years. The remote itself is a dream to use and the "My Harmony" app makes programming the remotes a breeze. Unfortunately, Logitech has discontinued this model and replaced it with less capable and more expensive models. Go figure.... I was a bit cautious to buy "renewed" (AKA Refurbished) ones but I took the plunge and bought several. I'm very happy with the results. Other than the packaging and my comments below, they might as well be new.Comments:1. These remotes are motion-activated. By that I mean that they sense when they are picked up and turn on at that time. Therefore shipping them with batteries installed means that the batteries will be worn down a bit when they arrive. I'd suggest two uninstalled AA batteries be put in the box along with the remote and the connecting cable rather than having the batteries installed in the remote itself and thereby running down a bit every time the box is moved or touched.2. I did have one of the several remotes I bought show up as DOA. That wasn't a big deal because with a quick return online and a short stop by the UPS store, the defective one was on its way back to AZ and I had a replacement unit the next day.Net: Great remote (my vote for one of the best ever) and great service by AZ to take all of the worry out of buying a used version. Side note: Shame on Logitech Harmony for discontinuing one of their best products.

Gran producto, funciona bien solo hay que bajar la aplicacion y toma tiempo en hacerlo funcioanr, pero es muy bueno, no funciona el Fire Stick en este control.

This unit has such a very weak signal that it will not work at all if more than 3 feet away from the TV. Even then it is hit and miss to get it to preform any functions. It is so useless and frustrating to use that I switched back to the old unit (which even though is old and sometimes will not work up to par, is far superior to this unit) I have given up on its use altogether and it is now stored in my cupboard with the batteries removed.. Complete waste of money. Extremely disappointed in Logi, they previously had a very good product and is why I bought this one but they seemed to have diluted the quality to the point of not working properly.at all. Very disappointed!

I bought this as a refurbished product to replace my older Harmony 520 which had served me well for many years but was finally showing its age. The new remote arrived before the promise date and in like new condition. The setup and configuration, once I finally figured out how to do it, was fairly simple and intuitive.The trouble is that, I guess because this was a refurbished product, the software needed for setting it up and configuring it wasn't provided nor was there even a mention that software IS needed let alone any direction as to where to get it. I first tried using the software that came with my old model 520 but it didn't work at all because the 665 needs updated software. There was also no help or instructions of any kind provided - no user manual, not even a quick start guide. The package included only the remote and a very short USB cable. That's it.In short, I was on my own. If this had been my first universal remote purchase or if I had been less tech savvy than I am, I would have been totally lost. Even so, I did experience some minor frustration until I finally found the software that I needed on Logitech's support site.
