simply works
The best things are usually the simplest. I have no complaints. If your child is learning the guitar, I would recommend a pitch pipe, such as this one. I think being able to tune your instrument using only your ear, is an imperative skill. This is a great product to that end.

i like it . Nice case . Real close on the tune.

This is better than my plastic & metal one which has gone off-tune.
It seems sturdier than the one I had before. Now if it will just maintain it's notes, especially the low "E".

Horrible.
I was really hoping to have a reliable natural way of thing my guitar but this is NOT it. I just tested this pipe into a known and trusted (peterson) tuner and only the A was near key, and that was with a bit of breath control. DO NOT BUY!! Or do...and learn for yourself.

Johnson PG-012 Guitar Pitch Pipes
the Pitch Pipe it's not what expected., its sound is more like a toy than a professional tuner. No good.

my favority pitch pipe
The cheap plastic pitch pipes lose their reeds and end up useless. I have had this one for two years and it is still going strong. I prefer pitch pipes to electronic tuners. It is good quality and looks nice too.

good, not great
The note markings are difficult to read, especially in dim light, and would have preferred a more functional storage case..

As long as your ears are good, works great in a pinch. Had one for years and lost it!!!!!
